Marcel Douwe Dekker (1964) is a Dutch systems engineer, conceptual artist, designer, author and Wikipedian, who participated in the Dutch Design movement in the 1990s. He is editor at the Dutch and English Wikipedia since 2004.

Life and participation[edit]

From student at Technische Universiteit Delft (1984-91) and Willem de Kooning Academie (1991-92) ; artist and designer at Marcello (1992-97) and Multimedia builder (1994-96) ; to conceptual artist at MDD (since 1998) and Wikipedian since 2004.
