Hey, the photos are removed and I can't assess their copyright status. Anyway, if the work is entirely a redesign of an already exiting work without being much different, Iman has no right over it and the right belongs to the original author. If the work he redesigned falls under PD, then so is Iman's. However, if Iman's work is similar to an existing PD work but it has enough details and innovations not found elsewhere, then he's the author. --Mhhosseintalk20:00, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Mardetanha! You should remember the sajed.ir website discussion. They used to have a generic text {{Sajed}} on their website which stated everything was published under GFDL license (not defining the exact version). Also, it was really dubious that they have the right to publish those photos under the said license (many discussions all resulted in delete: Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Hananeh.M.hCommons:Deletion requests/File:Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani in a military parade.jpg, etc.) Now, the website has removed those photos and changed its license to "کلیه حقوق محفوظ است، استفاده از مطالب با ذکر منبع بلا مانع است." (in English version: all rights reserved use of the content is permitted by mentioning the source.). What is your opinion? سلام مرد تنها جان. درخواست کمکی ازت داشتم. چند هفته پیش در توئیتر توئیتی دیدم از عکاسی به نام آرش عاشورینیا که عکاس معروفی هست و یک سری عکس از نسرین ستوده گرفته. ایشون گفتن که از انتشار عکسشون توسط سازمانهای حقوق بشری فرانسه راضین و این عکسها کپی رایتش آزاد هست. من باهاشون صحبت کردم که عکسهارو در ویکی هم آپلود کنن که گفتن انجام میدن ولی انجام ندادن. میخواستم ازت سوال کنم چه راه دیگه ای هست که برای ویکیپدیا هم مسجل بشه که این عکسها انتشارشون آزاد هست تا بتونیم ازشون استفاده کنیم در صفحات ویکی؟

I've got a quick update for you, containing three items:
I’d like to invite you to our group’s second Virtual Meeting on Saturday, September 26, 2020. As last time, this meeting will serve as an opportunity to get to know each other better, share learnings, and connect in times of the global COVID-19 pandemic. If you'd like to present, please add your name and the proposed topic to the list on the talk page.
Also, I'd like to start a conversation about how we should be sharing responsibility for the user group going forward. I'd love to get some help when it comes to organizing things and I'm convinced that we can achieve more if a couple of people helped with coordinating stuff.
Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has asked me to spread the word about their latest survey: Universal Code of Conduct Survey. The goal is to create a safer environment on Wikimedia projects and the Foundation gathers feedback prior to coming up with a first draft.
This is a quick reminder that our second virtual meeting will take place this Saturday, September 26. The agenda entails presentations about drone photography, about the story behind a featured picture, and about the future of LRMediaWiki. We'll also discuss photographers’ contacts with the Wikimedia Foundation and the election of representatives for our user group. You'll find information about all of this on the event page:

Hello Lotje, I am doing fine and hopefully you are fine too, it has been long time since we talked, from what I see it is written in Nastaliq and old Farsi which makes it hard to read but from what I can tell there are 4 verses in poem, first says Haji khaja shahbazi has created this clean building and second says, who (haji) went to Throne of God (or something like this). After the months-long policy consultation, we have prepared a policy (available in many languages) that has been ratified by the Board of Trustees. We’re currently in the second phase of the process. During this round of consultation, we want to discuss the implementation of this policy. As a member of the functionary team of Wikimedia Commons, your opinion on enforcement is of great value. We want to hear from you on how this policy can be enforced on the Wikimedia Commons community and what might be needed to do so. There are a few enforcement questions so you can easily outline your answers based on them. Please do not hesitate to bring any more questions/challenges you think are not yet discussed.
The discussion is taking place on Commons:Universal Code of Conduct consultation. Next Commons Photographers meeting featuring large format photographer Ben Horne[edit]

I'm happy to invite you to our next virtual meeting on Saturday, March 20, at the usual time. As I mentioned during our last get-together, I'd like to invite external guests every now and then, given that it seems good to expand our view and learn something from someone outside our community.
Our first external guest, Ben Horne, will talk about large format wilderness photography, followed by a question-and-answer session. Ben is maybe one of best known contemporary large format photographers in the United States. On his excursions to national parks, he shoots 8×10 film and talks about his adventures on his YouTube channel which has attracted more than 48,000 followers so far. He is YouTube's first, and longest active landscape photography vlogger and I'm thrilled that he has agreed to join our next meeting and talk about his experiences.
