Have you insert the Zimbabwe Bird from the Flag? The Zimbabwe Bird from your school book and the blueprint I use is different at the bottom. Whats the right form?

I like your image but recently someone noticed that it's not up to date and removed it from the article. Because I like the image I'd like to have it back. Would it be possible to update it? My guess is the editor is from Turkey and the country meanwhile got a big boost in GDP estimate from CIA and that tipped it over the edge between below/above world average. Thanks for the nice graph and I'm looking forward to the upgraded version.   2. Mat S: add Plumtree (s ward)

I took the liberty of consulting other sources. The external ornaments are from 'Héraldique Européenne', a website that prefers anachronistic uniformity over the actual designs. The diocese of East-Anglia, I'd rather decline that request. It would be the odd one out stylistically, and English catholic diocesan heraldry is a mess in any case (compare with Nottingham and Westminster), so I'd rather not touch it at all. I would be curious to know where you find that each point bears an escallop. The original arms had them on alternating points. This tradition tends to be maintained unless completely new arms are issued. It is worth noting that the arms of Princes Andrew and Edward only bear a single charge in the centre, not across all three. If you can provide a reference to each point bearing an escallop, the edit ought to be restored accordingly, however without any further details, the original layout takes precedence. Election results 2008 and 2013?[edit]

Hello Mangwanani, do you know any source where one could obtain detailed election results of the Zimbabwean elections 2013 and 2008? I would like to create election maps analogous to those for 2018 and 2023. Thanks --Furfur ⁂ Diskussion 19:55, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Furfur - So I've uploaded the Gazettes for 2008 and 2013 which gives you who was elected where. I don't think the 2008 one is complete though, as they were announced a bit haphazard around all the violence that was going on at the time. I think this has everything you want for 2008 though. This has a comprehensive breakdown of Parliament results for 2013. I will keep looking for Presidential results by Constituency for 2013.... Mangwanani (talk) 23:11, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Furfur - They're looking great! I'm doing what I can to track down the 2013 constituency results. I've uploaded what I can so far to the 2013 Category, so have a look through that. I'm working on finding the rest but it's proving tough. I don't want to be a nuisance to you, but I think the colours for the MDC (Tsvangirai and Mutambara) parties are slightly off... The colour codes being used on Wikipedia so far can be found on this page.
Where are we at with 2018 Presidential election results by constituency? I can probably upload the files with the Constituency data over the weekend, if you'd like that? I can change the colors. I was also not very pleased with the color of the MDC-M in 2008, but I got the impression that this was the color used in en.wikipedia. But if there is no convincing rationale for this color (e.g., election posters using it), we could change it. Sometimes party colors are picked somewhat randomly in Wikipedia if a party has no clearly defined color.

Hello Mangwanani, you are the creator of this map. It should simply be mentioned in the image description that it was derived from another map. I am a little bit confused by the article on the 2008 election because the MDC-N and MDC-N are somewhat mixed in the article and such are their corresponding colors (see the results table in the infobox and the results table under paragraph "National Assembly". --Furfur ⁂ Diskussion 15:02, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
