Quell'utente è volenteroso, carica centinaia di immagini e questo è bene però è testardo come un mulo (non so se in Brasile ci sia un modo di dire simile) e alle volte ci costringe a controllare quasi ogni suo contributo. In sua difesa dico anche però che ultimamente "un po'" è migliorato e ci lascia meno confusione (lo puoi vedere dai suoi contributi). Date and place of first publication is still a mystery, as is the photographer/copyright holder. Additionally, the source that is listed on the image page is also clearly incorrect, as the photo on the source page does not match the image that we are hosting (you'll see what I mean when you peruse the source website). As the copyright status is not demonstrated, the photo should be deleted under COM:PRP. Could you please do this. Thanks, russavia (talk) 15:29, 12 January 2012 (UTC) Yeah... that's just not true. A source has been provided which gives the time and the place of the publication. The author is unknown but this is true for most historical images. I don't know what Russavia means by "Additionally, the source that is listed on the image page is also clearly incorrect...you'll see what I mean when you peruse the source website". The source given, clearly includes the photo (though that webpage also includes citation to a *recent* book which included the photo - not the original publication). Anyway, User J0D0E (banned on en wiki, russian wiki and who knows where else) has littered the talk page with various arguments, many of them self-contradictory ("the photo is inauthentic because it was published in 1920!", wait, no, "the photo was published in 1930's but that means it's a copyvio!", no wait, "it was published in 1920, but because it was published in 1930s it's a copy vio") in a long standing disruptive attempt, spanning multiple projects, to get this photo removed. Everywhere else this has ended up with him getting banned hammered. I am leaving you a semi-official (transparent and public) note about the deletions we have discussed on the #wikimedia-commons channel on IRC. Between 0:27 and 0:29 (UTC) I sent a couple of messages to you on IRC informing you about the content of this userpage, asking you to give a chance to the user. Yet, you ignored my message and deleted File:Phone-Card-Scorpio.jpg, after having deleted File:Phone-Card-Aquarius.jpg just six minutes earlier (at 00:21:11 UTC). You have acted, in my feel, against the deletion policy that we have here on Wikimedia Commons, especially against the point titled Missing legal information. I informed you that I had restored the images in question and left a message on the user's talk page and had wrote them an e-mail (asking them to provide all the necessary information to OTRS). I had also informed you that you are welcome to delete the files after a weeks' time, on January 23; yet, you ignored that information and, instead, simply deleted those images again. I am far from willing to engage in a wheel war, and as I highly value all your contribution to Wikimedia Commons, I am asking you to read the Missing legal information part of the deletion policy and to act according to the procedures listed there; please restore the images uploaded by Speedypin (talk · contribs) and give the user the time to respond to the message I've left on their talk page. If there will be no response, you are of course free to act according to our usual rules, e.g. to delete the file on January 23.
