Hochladeformular für Wiki loves Monuments

Warum ist die Anzeige der Vorschaubilder immer noch nicht möglich? Wir laden jetzt schon seit 47 Stunden hoch und das Problem bestand seit der Freischaltung dieses Hochladeassisten.

Warum ist das Eingabefeld für den Aufnahmeort immer noch zu kurz? Ich habe dies bereits beim Feedback zum letzjährigen Wettbwerb angemerkt. Ortsnamen mit Klaenamenergänzung passen da einfach nicht rein, aber auch nicht Ortsteile als Bindestrichergänzung.

Warum funktioniert die Autoausfülloption nur nach dem Lotteriesystem? Oder auf welches Zuckerchen wartet die Maschine, dass sie manchmal diese Funktion zulässt und dann wieder nicht? --Wuselig (talk) 21:19, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

Uploading files

I attempted to upload three files. Each time the "upload succeeded but the server could not get a preview thumbnail " message appeared. Not sure what to do now since no options appear on screen. Trying to exit menu tells me that the upload is not complete but I must end at this point.

This has been reported before, but just to be clear. You do not get the "Continue" button at the bottom right of your uploads after all the uploads receive the green checkmark icon during the initial "Upload"-phase. If you see it again, can you make sure to check if it shows the "All uploads were successful!" where this button would normally be, and what it says for "# of # file uploaded" ? And if this occurs, did you remove files perhaps after they were uploaded ? TheDJ (talk) 18:13, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

ग्राम पंचायत बेलियाब.डी की जांच कर कानूनी कार्यवाही की मांग अनूपपुर शासन द्वारा ग्रामीण विकास के लिए भरपूर राशि उपलब्ध की जा रही है। संभाग आयुत्त* एवं कलेक्टर जे.के. जैन द्वारा सभी ग्राम पंचायत के पदाधिकारी , जिम्मेदार कर्मचारियों को निर्देश दे रहे हैं कि शासकीय राशि का उपयोग कर ग्रामीण विकास में ध्यान दें, लेकिन जनपद पंचायत अनूपपुर अन्तर्गत ग्राम बेलिया ब.डी अभी तक विकास के नाम पर कोसों दूर है। यह विज्ञप्ति ग्राम पंचायत बेलियाब.डी के प्रवीण कुमार पाण्डेय उर्फ मन्नू एडवोकेट द्वारा जारी की गई है। उन्होने विज्ञप्ति के माध्यम से बताना चाहा है कि जनपद पंचायत अनूपपुर के अन्तर्गत ग्राम पंचायत बेलिया ब.डी में भ्रष्टाचार रूप लिए विकास का भस्मासुर पांव पसारे बैठा है। इसे कोई देखने वाला जिम्मेदार प्रशासनिक अधिकारी नहीं रह गया है। उन्होने विज्ञप्ति में बताया है कि ग्राम पंचायत का विकास न होकर विनाश हो रहा है, जो यहां की गलियों में देखने को मिल रहा है। बेलियाब.डी के निर्वाचित प्रतिनिधियों ने बताया कि हम लोग ग्राम पंचायत के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए पंचायत सरपंच, सचिव के द्वारा की जा रही मनमानी तरीके से निर्माण कार्य, गुणवत्ता विहीन, घटिया सामग्री, फर्जी प्रस्ताव बनाकर एवं मनमानी आहरण संबंधी शिकायत जनपद पंचायत अनूपपुर मुख्य कार्यपालन अधिकारी एवं संवेदनशील कलेक्टर जे.के. जैन, संभागायुत्त* से की थी, जिसके बाद आज तक फर्जी कार्यो का न तो जांच हुआ और न ही उत्त* सम्बंध में कार्यवाही की गई, इस बात का रता-पता नहीं चला। श्री पाण्डेय ने कहा है कि ग्राम पंचायत बेलियाब.डी के निर्वाचित प्रतिनिधि पंचगण राजू पाण्डेय, रामनिवास कुशवाहा, सुनीता कोल, बलराम कोल, रामसुरेश एवं जनपद सदस्य भोपाल सिंह के द्वारा १२ बिन्दुओं की शिकायत जनसमस्या निवारण शिविर में जाकर कलेक्टर से रू-ब-रू होकर शिकायत किये थे। फिर भी आज तक कोई कार्यवाही नहीं हो सकी। ग्राम पंचायत बेलिया ब.डी में वर्ष २००८ से लेकर वर्ष २०१२ मार्च तक कराये गये पर वृक्षारोपण भाग-१ एवं भाग २ सघन पथ वृक्षारोपण इसी मार्ग में एवं सांसद मद से निर्मित स्टापडैम, विधायक मत से निर्मित दुर्गा मंदिर से बालमुकुंद के घर तक पीसीसी रोड, नंदन फालोद्यान, हाईस्कूल से बब्बू चौधरी के घर तक कराये गये ग्रेवल मार्ग तथा हाईस्कूल के पास निर्मित सर्वशिक्षा अभियान से निर्मित अतिरित्त* कक्ष क्र. १ एवं २ के घटिया निर्माण, गुणवत्ता विहीन सामग्री का उपयोग का आरोप लगाते हुए ग्राम पंचायत के बरहवां, तेरहवां, योजना की राशि मूलभूत योजना की राशि में भारी अनियमितता की गई है। जिसकी शिकायत ग्राम पंचायत के निर्वाचित जनप्रतिनिधि जनपद सदस्य गोपाल सिंह की अगुवाई में कलेक्टर कार्यालय पहुंचकर जिला प्रशासन से की गई थी, फिर भी आज तक जांच नहीं हो सकी, जिसके चलते ग्राम पंचायत के भ्रष्टाचारियों के हौसले बुलंद हैं। ग्रामीणों ने पंचायत सचिव एवं सरपंच पर आरोप लगाया है कि ग्राम विकास के बजाय अन्य कार्यो में शासकीय राशि की दुरूपयोग किया जा रहा है, जिसके चलते ग्रामीण विकास अवरूद्घ है। उन्होने स्थानीय एवं जिला प्रशासन को बताया है कि अगर समय रहते ग्राम पंचायत जांच कर दोषियों के विरूद्घ कार्यवाही नहीं की गई तो, शासकीय योजनाओं का लाभ हितग्राहियों तक नहीं पहुंच सकेगा। १६ जून २०१२

50 image cutoff

Stuck after "removing a duplicate image"

I can see the logic of prompting you when you are loading a duplicate image, say after you've hit the 50 limit and are now trying to load the rest of that batch. But it is a bit of a pain when you find that it sticks at loading 9 out of 10 images and doesn't give you the opportunity to click next and move on to release rights Jonathan Cardy (talk) 11:59, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

  • Just to get better understanding, were these files actual duplicates, or did they only use the same name ? And what is the problem exactly ? You remove the duplicate and afterwards there was still no option to move to the next fase ? Or was it all just too cumbersome ? TheDJ (talk) 09:12, 11 September 2012 (UTC)
    • Yes exact duplicates- except for the name they were going to be loaded as. I tried to upload 60 images and it stopped at 50 due to the cutoff (see above problem). So I tried to upload the remaining ten on the assumption that they were the last ten in my directory - I think most were and the last one in the 50 was the approximately the 50th in the directory. The system spotted that one image was an exact duplicate and flagged that up, but after I'd removed it I couldn't upload the remaining 9 because it wouldn't go on to Next. So the problem is that after a lot of faff I'm sitting there with 9 images I'm tryin to upload and no way to do so. Jonathan Cardy (talk) 09:32, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

For now, this is specifically not yet implemented. The reason is that it is unsure how that workflow would look like, since basically anyone is allowed to upload over an existing file. It's something that should be discouraged, unless someone knows what they are doing, but we have little options to make that distinction. So for now the links on the individual File pages, and the old upload form will have to do for that. I'm not sure, but I believe that was the reasoning. TheDJ (talk) 09:09, 11 September 2012 (UTC)

Wikiloves monuments, Campaign and copy for all images

With Wikiloves munuments, you have to copy-paste the ID of the monument for all uploaded image (for exemple campaign=wlm-fr with the Identifier of Mérimée database). Even you have chosen "Copier les autres informations", nothing work.

could you copy the info for mwe-upwiz-details when we chose to copy the others information?

Bonjour, Tout d'abord je trouve que l'initiative de ce concours est plus que bienvenue. Je tenais par contre à vous signaler que j'ai téléversé des photos par deux moyens différents, et mes contributions ne semblent avoir été prises en compte que dans l'un des cas : Via la page http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:UploadWizard&campaign=wlm-fr&uselang=fr il s'avère que les clichés n'apparaissent pas sur la carte des contributions, alors que si je vais sur la page de la liste des monuments et que je téléverse en cliquant sur l'image "image manquante" de la liste, ma contribution est comptabilisée.

Pour ma part ce n'est pas bien grave, je ne le fais pas pour gagner, juste pour contribuer. Mais peut-être que d'autres utilisateurs seront mécontents ?

Ik probeerde meerdere (+/-15) foto's te uploaden voor Wikilovesmonuments. De eerste 10 die ik selecteerde, gaven bijna direct 'Upload geslaagd' op het scherm. Bij de volgende kreeg ik steeds een foutmelding (Unknown error of iets dergelijks). Ik verwijderde daarom de mislukte uploads en ging verder met de lijst van 10 die wel zouden gelukt zijn. Nadat ik de omschrijvingen en monumentnummers ingaf en op 'Volgende' klikte, kreeg ik volgende foutmelding: [api-error-internal_api_error_UploadStashBadPathException]. Opnieuw proberen gaf hetzelfde resultaat. Daarna probeerde ik het een voor een, maar toen raakte zelfs de eerste foto niet geüpload (melding: Interne fout: "unknown"). De server gebruikt de EXIF rotatie informatie die je camera vaak toevoegt aan een foto. Als je software gebruikt om je foto's te bekijken en bewerken, die deze informatie niet snapt, en daarmee de foto zelf roteert, dan is de foto dus eigenlijk 2 slagen gedraaid ipv 1 slag. Hierdoor zie je hem na uploaden als 1 slag te ver gedraaid. De bot snapt wat je wil, en brengt beide stukken informatie weer synchroon. How do I upload previously deleted files? Help?

This is a really annoying problem for me - I am trying to upload files after installing the Upload Wizard on my mediawiki site, since the previous files didn't have the ability to use licenses or copyright tags. I deleted the old photos, though they are still on the server since mediawiki archives old files.

When I try to upload the same files, with a new name, I get the error 'Unknown warning: "duplicate-archive"' at the very end of the process. How can I upload these files?   1. Die Funktion "Informationen zur untenstehenden hochzuladenden Datei kopieren …" funktioniert nicht mit dem Feld $1 aus der Kampagne, also bei der WLM - die Denkmalnummer.
  2. Die Funktion "Informationen zur untenstehenden hochzuladenden Datei kopieren …" funktioniert nur ab dem ersten Bild. Schön wäre es, wenn die ab dem 2. Bild immer steht und dann immer (zum überschreiben) für die folgenden Bilder gilt.
  3. Bei der Funktion "Informationen zur untenstehenden hochzuladenden Datei kopieren …" ist die Funktion "Datum kopieren" als Standard ausgewählt. Das macht meiner Meinung nach keinen Sinn, nicht jedes Bild ist in der selben Sekunde aufgenommen. Wenn schon die Information aus den EXIF-Daten vorliegt - sollte sie auch erhalten bleiben.
  4. Bei der Funktion "Informationen zur untenstehenden hochzuladenden Datei kopieren …" und der Auswahl "Datum kopieren". könnte das Datumsformat an den Commons-Standard angeglichen werden - sonst muss wieder ein Bot drüberbügeln.
  5. Bei der Funktion "Informationen zur untenstehenden hochzuladenden Datei kopieren …" und die Funktion der automatischer Nummerierung. Diese könnte man verbessern. Funktioniert das nur zweistellig oder auch vierstellig? Zum Teil funktioniert das mit einer zweistelligen Vorgabe - die dann hochgezählt wird, aber dann nicht bei vierstelligen Zahlen. De plus, ce serait bien si vous trouviez le moyen de nous expliquer pourquoi sur huit photos prises au même moment, et n'ayant subi aucun traitement supplémentaire, trois posent problème et pourquoi.

After uploading i get this:

Below that is the files i uploaded and text to copy and use on wikipedia. Is there any way i can CHANGE what text is displayed there. For exemple, if i upload a lot of photos that i will be displaying in a specific size i could then add that there so i dont have to edit it in every page om wikipedia. I would like to have that feature (if it dont exist now) in my settings were default could be [[File:FILENAME|thumb|Add caption here]] like its now and the user could change it to whatever he/she prefers. /Hangsna (talk) 18:26, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

initial drop-down implies no limits on file types & size while wiki commons sets tight limits on sizes by types; Could you pls add a simplified table of file types & max size for the monuments contest on the "Rules" page.

Unknown error while uploading files

I faced an error while uploading 4 images using the new upload form. The form got stuck at the last step, describing the images. The titles were filled in (with file extensions), the source date was present (automatically filled), the description and the licensing were also present. Still, the form said that there were 4 errors, without specifying what the errors were. http://imgur.com/a/mC7TO is a screenshot of the page. Two of those images have been uploaded (using Special:Upload), File:Statue of Mangal Pandey at Shaheed Smarak Meerut.jpg, and File:Shaheed_Smarak_Meerut.jpg. Enkele foto's werden door mij geupload via de gewone wizard uploaden, terwijl het de bedoeling was om de wizard van de wedstrijd wikilovesmonuments te gebruiken. (mijn fout natuurlijk) Hierdoor kon ik de monumentnummers niet ingeven. Jammer dat niet meteen duidelijk is hoe die nummers alsnog kunnen worden toegevoegd, of hoe een upload opnieuw kan worden gedaan, zonder de melding dat dit bestand reeds geupload is. the LEAST you could to is to let us know why on the page we're doing the work on. Does the photo have to be a certain size? Then the upload page is the *perfect* place for that information to go. Is there some other reason many many different sizes of the file have failed in the upload, do I need to login again ? is there something else wrong? What error message are you getting? What makes you think that the error has to do with the size of the files? There are no restrictions on sizes other than the maximum sizes listed in Commons:Maximum file size. You do need to be logged in to upload files. —LX (talk, contribs) 13:42, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
