Vindbelgjarfjall

Deutsch: Der Palagonitkegel Vindbelgjarfjall (auch Vindbelgur) gehört zum Vulkansystem der Krafla im Norden Islands beim See Mývatn. Er entstand in subglazialen Ausbrüchen während der Eiszeit. en=Vindbelgjarfjall is a palagonitic cone from Ice Age, located to the northeast of lake Mývatn in the north of Iceland. It is part of Krafla volcanic system.

Íslenska: Vindbelgjarfjall (Vindbelgur eða Belgjarfjall) er 529 m hátt keilulaga móbergsfjall í Mývatnssveit. Norður úr fjallinu gengur lægri rani sem nefnist Buski. Austan í fjallinu, syðst eru örnefnin Skútahellir og Skútaskriða, en þjóðsögur herma að þar hafi Víga-Skúta varist. Þess er þó ekki getið í fornsögunum.
