Question about pd-text

Hi Pierpao,
I saw you 'keep'-decision on this file: File:India_House_Amsterdam_Logo.jpg. I don't want to argue about the decision but I was wondering why this logo is considered to be text only/text with simple geometric shapes. Is the flower considered to be a simple geometric shape? I thought this phrase was relating to squares, circles, semicircles etc and that an arrangement of simple geometric shapes were already considered to be non-simple. Do you have a link where I can read a bit more about this so I don't nominate files anymore that fit this threshold.

Drassodes Lapidosus.jpg

Obviously you did not understand why I requested renaming the above image. The species depicted there is not Drassodes lapidosus, but a Clubiona sp. Therefore the image is named and described incorrectly. This incorrect name leads to the situation that the image is used on a lot of pages related to Drassodes lapidosus, while, in fact, it is not that species. Readers of Wikipedia are presented with incorrect information all the time because the file is incorrectly named and described.

I am not the only one complaining about this. Also see [2]. The original author seems to be no longer active and does not react.

Categorie "by style" e "by period"

Ciao Pierpao. Volevo avvisarti che ti ho cancellato le due categorie Category:Art in Italy by style e la successiva "by city" che hai creato recentemente. A parte che erano assolutamente ridondanti perché esistono le stesse "by period", ma poi tieni presente che nelle nostre categorie che riguardano l'Italia NON vi sono categorie "by style". Le abbiamo tutte eliminate e sostituite con le corrispondenti "by period"; un lavoro di uniformizzazione che abbiamo fatto un paio di anni fa in quanto queste categorie artistiche erano categorizzate alcune "by style" e altre "by period", risultando così ora l'una, ora l'altra "mancanti o inesistenti" mentre invece erano semplicemente rese nell'altra forma. Il fatto è che l'avevo trovato così su Flickr (con questa licenza) e sarebbe stata utile per una pagina, non so poi se la licenza su Flickr è giusta o sbagliata. COM:File renaming and recent file moves

Hi Pierpao, thanks for volunteering in file renaming. Today I am writing you because I observed some files possibly renamed not in accordance with the policy: [4] [5]. I am also not happy with the situation that we can't change a file's title without the file's name. But we have this technical limitation and changing the file's name often causes trouble (especially if the uploader does not like it or if it is highly in use). So one could interpret the reason "sorting" as Harmonize file names of a set of images or misleading names into accurate ones but this needs a lot of fantasy. As long as no one else complains it's not a big deal but if someone does you are in danger loosing your file mover flag.

Io ora ho creato la categoria che tu molto probabilmente volevi creare però volevo chiederti se avevi fatto queste operazioni anche con altre immagini. What you mean when renaming is Electress Wilhelmine Caroline von Hessen-Kassel (Princess of Denmark). The Files mean Wilhelmine von Hessen-Kassel, a Prussian princess. The original file name was short, but not wrong. „Hofdame“ means „court lady“ (gentildonna?). However, the attribution to Wilhelmine von Hessen-Kassel not seem to be clear. See also my references in this file. Wilhelmine was the women of Heinrich von Preussen, the young brother of Friedrich II. (Federico II). Sottoesposizioni

Il tag "underexposed" non è stato creato per giudicare l'immagine o la capacità artistica dell'autore ma semplicemente per segnalare all'atelier che si occupa di ritocchi che è mecessario che prendano visione dell'immagine (non necessariamente perché la foto è scura, ma anche perché il colore è totalmente sbilanciato per via di una illuminazione fioca, tipicamente una lampadina). Io personalmente non faccio ritocchi se non in casi davvero estremi (qui trovi un esempio di cosa intenda io per "underexposed": per favore, guarda come era l'immagine prima del mio ritocco, e come è adesso), e se marco una immagine (ho già abbastanza da fare con le mie, per mettermi a pattugliare quelle altrui) è perché davvero siamo a un caso limite.
Per esempio, nell'immagine in cui mi chiedi se io sia sicuro, la risposta è sì (anche perché il tag si riferisce a questa versione, non a quella attuale, che è già ribilanciata proprio a seguito dell'inserimento di quel tag!). Il caso e la coincidenza vuole che bolo77 sia mio amico, che abbiamo visitato assieme il museo quando lui fece le foto, e che io abbia visto il mosaico originale. Ti assicuro che le tessere del mosaico sono bianche e non gialle, a parte una fascia ottagonale arancione. Questo, credo, taglia la testa al toro. Quanto ad Arno Roca, non ho presente di quali immagini tu stia parlando: dovresti usarmi la cortesia di farmi un esempio, in modo che possa comprendere di cosa esattamente tu stia parlando. A giudicare dalle miniature, infatti, dovrebbero essere tutte ok, salvo un paio che sono dei macchioni indistinti, nelle quali però non vedo nessun tag di underexposed. Se mi fai un esempio capisco meglio.
Quanto al fatto che a tuo parere sarebbe meglio cancellare le immagini piuttosto che ritoccarle, come sai su Commons ogni punto di vista vale quanto ogni altro punto di vista. Se tu ritieni di dover mettere in cancellazione le immagini, questo è un tuo diritto; semplicemente, io sono veramente molto restio a farlo, salvo quando siamo di fronte a un copyvio. Ecco perché preferisco il tag, che dopo tutto dù origine a una azione reversibile (la versione originale resta online) ad una cancellazione.

Il fatto è che io sono viziato perché ho fatto il direttore di giornale, e quindi so che quelle foto così scure sono inutilizzabili. E no, l'autore, essendo uno sconosciuto, difficilmente meriterà di venire citato e usato "as is". Se ci fai caso, perfino il fatto che meriti una categoria a sé è stato messo in discussione... Quindi, cosa le teniamo a fare, quelle macchione nere? Quale pagina di Wikipedia potrebbero mai illustrare, un domani?

Ad ogni modo, quelli che citi sono casi limite. Togli pure il tag da quelle foto ed amen. Anzi, ho visto che lo hai già fatto. Vorrà dire che in futuro le metterò direttamente in cancellazione, dopodiché qualcun altro mi scriverà dicendo: ma perché cancellarle? basterebbe ritoccarle... If you don't wish to move a file, it's OK, don't do it. But, please, don't remove the move request. Uploader request is a perfectly valid reason to ask for a file rename, especially considering that, if you read Commons:Criteria for speedy deletion I could simply ask for deletion (#7 criterium) and upload it again. If you request deletion for the Bearded Men category, you can move the original category and take the category history with it. Correzione immagini

Ciao Pierpao. Grazie per avermi risposto. Allora le immagini da correggere sono queste:

• File:Aeolian Islands german map.png il nome di Milazzo (con una L).
• quattro files di planimetrie di templi greci File:Peripteros.png, File:Peripteros.svg, File:Pseudodipteros 1.png, File:Pseudodipteros 1.svg che presentano tutti lo stesso grave errore, l'opistodomo aperto e comunicante con la cella: non esistono templi greci dove la cella è in comunicazione con l'opistodomo. L'opistodomo, qualora tu non lo sapessi, è la stanzetta situata a sinistra, dietro la cella del tempio, sul lato opposto all'ingresso della cella (il pronaos), che era destinato ad accogliere le offerte dei fedeli. Quello che tu dovresti fare qui è chiudere quel passaggio. Se non ti è chiaro come dovrebbe essere, hai qui un esempio corretto che ti farà capire esattamente come dovrebbero essere corretti questi quattro files. Che mi dici? E' fattibile la cosa? Altrimenti ci rivolgiamo ad altri. So che la WP tedesca ha un "laboratorio" in questo senso, ma non so più né come si chiama né dove cercarlo. Fammi sapere. Intanto grazie mille! Pierpao per la risposta, finalmente! perché non riuscivo a trovare qualcuno... Si giustamente è in cancellazione perché deve essere corretta, deve essere corretta per essere accettata, ma tranquillo c'è tutto quello che serve, allora ti spiego meglio meglio:

• Intanto ti dico che la versione italiana è fatta benissimo e la versione inglese, anche se forse manca qualcosina, va più che bene
• La prima citazione di Hai Tien è in inglese presa dalla versione inglese e sotto c'è la traduzione in tedesco fatta male, anche se la cosa più logica credo che sarebbe stata prendere la citazione direttamente da questo documentario con il doppiaggio in tedesco
• la seconda citazione è presa da un'altro documentario di origine giapponese (Bruce Lee in G.O.D 死亡的遊戯: 1 2 3 4) che in Italia non è ancora uscito, e forse neanche in Germania, ed è presa da questa intervista
• le successive ultime 2 citazioni in inglese sono tradotte pure male in tedesco ma sono entrambi presenti nelle versioni en e it

OK Pierpao non c'è problema. Comunque io ho rifatto la pagina, se guardi adesso è fatta molto meglio oltre ad essere di una semplicità mostruosa, adesso c'è tutto, contenuti in tedesco, fonti ecc... e per qualche motivo molto sconosciuto e incomprensibile è stata proposta per la cancellazione immediata, adesso se tu volessi aiutarmi, quanto meno a farmi dare una spiegazione logica, te ne sarei molto grato, se non puoi occupartene non fa niente però ti pregerei di non lasciarmi senza risposta, inoltre ti confesso di essere in grosse difficoltà a trovare qualcuno disponibile. I do no understand what you have written. I simply moved painted poirtraits... to portrait paintings. This was my scope al least. Maybe I made a mistake but I do not unnderstand which is. Deletion of an entry in “Template:Occupation/list”

Regarding your deletion (cf. Special:Diff/183804930) in Template:Occupation/list: You’ve spotted an entry that is not in Template:Occupation/en, this was good. The right approach, though, would not have been the deletion, but a correction into the actually used term in the template. The reason is, that this list is important as overview for missing translations, in your case probably into Italian. So, every entry from the English template has to be there, too. Regular deletion

At File:Vlore.jpg you reverted my edit, saying it was a candidate for regular deletion.

Surely if there are copies available online, which are higher resolution and higher quality (the image uploaded was blurred), it doesn't matter where it came from but it is a copyright violation. For example: http://szallashelyek-utazas.info/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Vlore-Albania.jpg

Also you said a regular deletion request will be started, but nothing has happened since.

Secondo te per l'innata rigidità di commons per rinominare File:Buy now for 2014.jpg devo mettere criterio 5 o criterio 2? "comprale adesso per il 2014" che nome sarebbe per un file ospitato su un archivio che si presuppone possibilmente "serio"? Chiaramente o è criterio 5 (commerciale) o è ironico e quindi è critrio 2 (ambiguo, che cosa comprerei del resto mica si capisce dal titolo). Insomma non è un buon titolo perché leggendolo non ho idea di cosa parli la foto, no? Circolo Filologico Milanese

Faccio riferimento ad una tua osservazione relativa alla pagina che intendo creare a proposito dell'oggetto. Mi hai chiesto se mi sono informato se la voce sia enciclopedica prima di fare un lavoro inutile. Sinceramente no, l'ho valutato autonomamente e non sapevo né ho letto da qualche parte che fosse da richiedere. Ho considerato l'importanza dei soci, dei collaboratori e dei personaggi famosi premiati, facenti parte del Circolo e ho ritenuto che fosse sicuramente enciclopedica. Rileggendo meglio la mia richiesta di autorizzazione al Bar mi accorgo di non avere chiarito bene cosa volevo fosse autorizzato. Io non ho alcun interesse ad uno screenshot dalla home del circolo, la pagina Wiki che avrei intenzione di creare lo descriverà al di là del sito, che mi è servito solo per sapere dell'esistenza del Circolo, io mi riferivo solo ad una foto che rappresenta l'interno del circolo, per la foto chiedevo il permesso, se ad esempio fosse una foto fatta prima del 1995 credo non avrebbe problemi, ma il punto è che non so chi ne sia l'autore e forse scrivendo al circolo saprebbero dirmelo. --Brunokito (talk) 11:57, 10 February 2016 (UTC)
Ti ringrazio sei stato gentilissimo, purtroppo farei volentieri una foto della facciata, ma io sono di Forlì e sarebbe eccessivo farsi 250 km. per questo! Tuttavia non demordo, ci sono migliaia di voci, scusami, abbastnza futili, che però sopravvivono allegramente, un circolo culturale di questa importanza mi sembrava ovvio potesse essere enciclopedico, vedrò, devo soprattutto evitare errori stupidi. No problem

Guarda l'ho scritto su meta, se avessi voluto evitare il blocco avrei ingoiato l'accusa di essere "sbagliato" con i neoutenti (peraltro basata su un solo episodio, quindi non determinante pure se fosse vera). Si andava verso un topic ban e basta. Cosa che per m andava bene tanto io comunque mi stavo allontanand dalle discussioni.

Ma la mia arrabiattura era per ribadire la mia opposizione a ogni "doppio standard", e la rifarei comunque. Ne ho anche parlato in ML di WMI e non è stato certo un mio assolo.

Fra l'altro l'impulsività di M7 ha determinato un pastrocchio non da poco: non è stato confermato alcun ban, e non si può additarmi entrambe le misure al rientro se non continuando con le forzature. Quindi fra un anno se ripasso che devo fare :D? Lo scopriremo vivendo.

Peraltro io sono molto attivo comunque: oggi avevo un corso di presentazione wikimedia, ieri ho scritto una mail a un importante professore francese per la sua voce su enWiki. E adesso sono qua a mettere titoli in altre lingue a voci dei musei del cibo. Praticamente è cambiato nulla.

Fra l'altro lo vuoi sapere un aneddoto buffisimo? Sebbene non abbia fatto nulla da IP, né mi interessa farlo su itWiki, M7 ha bloccato purel'IP del centro culturale dove faccio il corso. Secondo me è un danneggiamento di wikipedia inutile. Comunque guarda è stato ancora più interessante e produttivo: lo studente a cui facevo lezione, un bravissimo magistrato in pensione, ne ha voluto sapere di più e di più, e sui vari aspetti legali delle cose. Gli ho fatto vedere i blocchi per copyright, mi ha dato ragione su tante intepretazioni che non mi si filava nssuno. E poi abbiamo chiuso il computer, siamo andati al bar, mi ha offerto un caffé (cioccolata per me). Si tratta di un edificio normalmente chiuso al pubblico. Io sono tornato a agosto ma mi pare a Cascina di averti invitato no? Poi io non ho fatto più nulla. A dicembre sono stato 9 gg a casa, ho visto Lorenzo di sfuggita un pomeriggio. Al momento sto organizzando qualcosa per maggio ma quando abbiamo iniziato non eri ancora tornato quindi non ho pensato a te fra le mail preliminari (con tutti i coordinatori nel giro... la fatica). So che Luca Kaspo e il tizio di Empoli di OSM (Marco, mi pare si chiami) stanno organizzando qualcosa. E poi c'è una premiazione di WLM Toscana, per la quale ho fatto un poster. Per la ML c'è un link ma non riesco a ritrovarlo nella posta dove ne avevo preso nota. Ti pingo User:Kaspo così oltre a aggiornarti degli eventi ti ci mette lui in ML.

Come da predetto Ruthven è diventato sysop su commons. Lui poi lo fanno steward prima o poi quindi mancate solo tu e Threecharlie.

Esana...metti! Se mi dai tempo ci arrivo. Arrivo anche a te come promesso giorni fa. In genere le faccio in modo abbastanza random, ma se vuoi intensifico sulle Marche un po' (ma per me tutte le regioni sono uguali, vado genuinamente a caso da chi mi gira sotto mano). Certo fa sempre strano vedere la gente di itwikipedia (penso a chi aggiunge appelli di scattare foto ai corsi WMI) muoversi sempre un po' dopo e un po' in ordine sparso e inefficiente rispetto a quando sarebbe possibile su molti aspetti. Per dire se avessi potuto mandare un messaggio preimpostato su questa campagna di sensibilizzazione a trovare le immagini mancanti lo avevo già fatto da mesi, ma nemmeno ci provo a spiegarmi... finirebbe tutto in discorsoni sulla "burocrazia", il "gioco di ruolo", i "massimi sistemi". Le dinamiche di itwikipedia sono troppo indietro, altrimenti ci si sarebbe già accorti che il problema della mancanza delle immagini locali è "in potenza" già risolto: la sofisticazione dei software e i dati wikimetrici dicono che si può trovare a livello subprovinciale un utente che in pochi mesi scatti tutte le foto richieste nel raggio di 10-15 km.

Ma itwikipedia non vuole davvero soluzioni "definitive".... ciò richiederebbe una visione utilitaristica che è impedita dal fatto che le utenze "bravissime e competentissime" di itwikipedia hanno bisogno di un sistema inefficiente dove sono "indispensabili", e comunque a una visione utilitaristica va qui associato anche un approccio partecipativo e dinamico a wikidata, che al momento si può avere solo in modo faticoso e passo passo perché a sentire certuni wikidata deve essere solo presentata in un certo modo e insegnare alla utenze queste cose così è improprio (qui la giustificazione è purtroppo descrivere l'utente medio come un povero scemotto che senza l' "utente indispensabile" non ce la farebbe da solo). Insomma utenti "bravissimi e competentissimi" dicono che questi strumenti che collegano wikidata al lavoro contenutistico effettivo (nel caso: razionalizzare la ricerca di immagini) io a te e a altri non li dovrei nemmeno insegnare... Lo so è un commento molto "politico", perché come disse una volta un furbacchione che voleva cambiare argomento, io come noto "sono un politico" (o giù di lì).--Alexmar983 (talk) 15:33, 28 February 2017 (UTC)

Grazie comunque per tutto quello che hai fatto o riuscirai a fare. Io purtroppo non ho nessuna conoscenza grafica in questo campo, altrimenti l'avrei provveduto io stesso. Sì, lo so, molte foto hanno una bassa risoluzione, ma le ho caricate lo stesso perché le reputavo un documento storicamente importante. In genere quando qualcun altro carica la foto "pulita" o a risoluzione maggiore, sono io stesso che le sostituisco. Questi qui invece mi sono sembrati "casi disperati". Fare il sysop su itwiki non è agevole visto il clima che oscilla fra apatico e teso, penso che sia implicito che lo si faccia ricavandosi delle nicchie, soprattutto. Sperando di non trovarsi nell'occhio del ciclone quando capita. Ha tuttavia un aspetto utile : lo si può usare come biglietto da visita su altre piattaforme. Per diventare sysop, indubbiamente dimostra una certa maturità esserlo da un'altra parte. E quindi se lo diventi di là, fra qualche mese lo puoi diventare anche di qua dove paradossalmente sei anche più qualificato secondo me, visto che la variabilità di scenari è minore. La mia assenza è ideologica, nulla di personale eh. Solo che dopo che mi sono trovato trattato male per aver ricordato che non è il caso di eleggere sysop uno che aveva giocato con sockpuppet o giù di lì ho anche detto basta. Se per i films posso essere d'accordo con te che è meglio parlare di titoli che non di nomi, ma per le statue antiche non ne sono tanto convinto. "Farnese Bull" e "Venere Callipige" (o qualsiasi altro nome che esse possono avere) pensi davvero che sono titoli e non invece nomi attribuiti a queste statue? Grazie per il lavoro che stai facendo. Penso che sia meglio essere il più semplici possibile. Poi lo sappiamo tutti che il sistema non può essere perfetto e che qui e là vi possono sempre essere delle sfasature. Ma se il 90% delle sculture sono nomi, lasciamoli fra i nomi. Il "Toro Farnese" è anche detto "Supplizio di Dirce" che è un titolo con un nome di persona. Credo che sia un unicum... Altri gruppi sono tutti nomi: "Eros e Psiche", "Zeus e Ganimede", "Satiro e Bacco", "Ermafrodito e Satiro", ecc. Se puoi riportare indietro le statue ai by name credo che sarebbe un bene. I will not ask for your permission or consult you how I should name my own work or the PD file that I am uploading. There's MNW naming convention in Commons, work out by me and some other users for few years, if you like it or not, and there was no problem with this. Foto Bonifica

Ciao Pierpao, provo a riassumere un'ultima volta, per definitiva chiarezza:

1) la foto è datata 1979, quindi è correttamente caricata su it.wikipedia nel pubblico dominio perché il copyright scaduto. La licenza è cioè libera;

2) anche se non necessario, ho in ogni caso informato l'autore prima della pubblicazione, non per motivi legislativi ma etici e di gentilezza. Lo stesso autore si è mostrato ben felice e disponibile alla pubblicazione. Non ho pubblicato lo scambio di messaggi perché superfluo e per rispetto della privacy. In ogni caso le condizioni di cui al punto 1) implicano la possibilità di ricopiare la foto su wikicommons senza l'autorizzazione dell'autore;

3) la foto che hai segnalato tu era una prima versione. Un vecchio doppione con descrizione non dettagliata. Ne ho richiesto la cancellazione perché è un refuso.

Ciao Pierpao, non era mia intenzione "insistere", se hai percepito questo me ne scuso. Al contrario proprio perché condivido, ed avevo già letto in precedenza, le regole a cui fai riferimento non comprendevo la richiesta di cancellazione (posto che la foto andava in ogni caso cancellata in quanto refuso).

Faccio in ogni caso un passo indietro perché vorrei capire meglio per il futuro, probabilmente quello che ho letto l'ho interpretato male. Dammi una mano se puoi per favore considerato che evidentemente hai meglio approfondito l'argomento. Dunque:

a) in questa pagina https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Bonifica_ordigni_mazzaferro_fine_anni_70.jpg è specificata la "classica" regola che tu indichi: cioè su wikicommons vanno in PD automatico tutte le foto prima del 1976. La mia è del 1979 quindi alla lettera non può andare in automatico secondo la normativa.

b) Mi ero soffermato in precedenza sull'URAA alla pagina che tu indichi https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:URAA-restored_copyrights. Alla voce preliminary tests si riporta questa affermazione: Works not copyrightable in the United States are not affected by URAA restoration. For example, architectural works (i.e. buildings) constructed before December 1, 1990, are not copyrightable in the US.

c) Avevo poi anche letto la pagina del fair use: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_use dove la legislazione statunitense riportava i 4 punti cardine per garantirne l'uso nonostante un eventuale copyright: L'oggetto e la natura dell'uso, in particolare se ha natura commerciale oppure didattica e senza scopo lucrativo; La natura dell'opera protetta; La quantità e l'importanza della parte utilizzata, in rapporto all'insieme dell'opera protetta; Le conseguenze di questo uso sul mercato potenziale o sul valore dell'opera protetta.

Avevo quindi concluso quanto segue.

1) Relativamente al punto b) la mia foto, al pari di un edificio, non mi sembra copyrightable negli U.S.A. 2) Relativamente al punto c) la mia foto è senza scopo di lucro, la natura dell'opera non è creativa, la quantità è minima considerato che è 1 sola foto, non ha conseguenze sul mercato potenziale perché è la foto di un camion.

Posto che non era mia, era comunque di rilievo per la pagina. Volevo sapere a tal proposito se fosse ripristinabile con la conoscenza di queste informazioni: 1) lo sculture che l'ha realizzata risiede in loco 2) l'ha fatta gratuitamente per poi donarla al quartiere e alla città. Esiste anche un video dell'inaugurazione che ti linko: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t2oiXuQOVBk. Dal minuto 1:37 si parla nello specifico della scultura che è posta su una rotatoria. E' lo stesso sindaco che conferma che è un regalo di concittadini. Tra l'altro al minuto 2:04 compare in primo piano lo scultore: occhiali e barbetta bianca. In questi casi si può considerare la legge sul copyright by-passata? Senza che richieda all'autore stesso la licenza cc-by-sa per pubblicare una foto dell'opera che lui stesso ci ha regalato? On a wiki such as this we have consensus for such moves of some magnitude, at least look to have a conversation, not solely based on your opinion. There is clear guidance in the "reasons not to move" section, and the renames that you undertook are IMHO not required, especially due to the number of links that existed. Please don't make trivial changes as the instructional page states. Also, while you think that it is a bit better, the fact that you are triggering all those edits cross wiki is relevant for the decision-making.

Le autorizzazioni scritte nella pagina le accettavamo prima che esistesse OTRS, verso il 2005 e prima. Da quella data in poi, bisogna che l'utente che carica il file dimostri che ha il diritto di usare la foto/quadro/musica già pubblicata altrove.

Per il tuo commento al Bar, la risposta è semplice: se importi file su Commons, devi usare i template di Commons. Ora, l'errore e la poca flessibilità dell'admin è qui evidente, ma sottolinea anche che le importazioni sono mal fatte. Devi sostituire "opera propria" col template {{own}}, scrivere la data dello scatto (visibile negli EXIF) se assente, inserire le categorie corrette e il corretto template di licenza. Importare vuol dire questo. I file dubbi, come questo che ti ho segnalato, vanno direttamente cancellati nel progetto d'origine, senza importarli su Commons (dove contattare l'autore diventa difficile, perché è l'"importatore" ad essere avvisato). Solamente le foto scattate dall'utente stesso possono essere caricate senza autorizzazione scritta (ed i file nel pubblico dominio). Tutto il resto deve essere cancellato se non vi è autorizzazione (su questioni di copyright si assume la buona fede: ma si cancella prima e si verifica se c'è buona fede poi). Il quadro, a differenza della foto, è stato già "pubblicato" il giorno della sua prima esposizione al pubblico, che non può essere quella del caricamento su Commons. Ovviamente anche le foto già pubblicate altrove necessitano di autorizzazione scritta. --Ruthven (msg) 15:10, 7 August 2019 (UTC)

Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Привіт!

З 1 по 30 вересня вже традиційно пройде українська частина міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»! В Україні цей конкурс пройде вже вдесяте. На конкурс можна подавати власні фото пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України — і змагатися за призи. Більше можна прочитати за посиланням.

Радимо ознайомитися із детальними правилами, а також із відповідями на часті питання. Як і того року — у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток» можна отримати 21 бал за фотографії об'єктів, якщо світлин цієї пам'ятки раніше не було завантажено.

Нагадаємо, що всі фотографії автоматично беруть участь у номінації «За найбільшу кількість сфотографованих пам’яток»; однак для того, щоб фото позмагалося у номінації «Найкраще фото», потрібно підтвердити це при завантаженні.

Цього року вперше будуть окремо виділені фото з повітря (дронами, квадрокоптерами тощо) — у спеціальній номінації «Аерофото». Для того, щоб робота потрапила на спецномінацію потрібно вибрати її у Завантажувачі.

Також вперше проводиться спеціальна номінація «Пам'ятки Подесення», знову пройдуть спецномінації «Відео», «Єврейська спадщина», «Млини», «Пам'ятки національно-визвольної боротьби» та «Via Regia Ukraine». Для участі світлин у цих спецномінаціях не потрібно обирати нічого у Завантажувачі — світлини зараховуватимуться автоматично з відповідних списків.

Ви можете користуватися тими новими списками, що вже є, якщо потрібно відшукати пам'ятку за новим поділом (деякі ОДА вже почали присилати у такому форматі), але пам'ятайте, що нові списки ще не є повними.

Привіт!

Нагадуємо, що до 30 вересня включно можна вантажити світлини та відео культурної спадщини України до національного етапу міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки»!

Зараз Україна посідає 3-є місце за кількістю завантажених світлин, поступаючись Російській Федерації та Німеччині. За першу половину місяця було завантажено світлини пам'яток із усіх регіонів України, але частина із них є дуже погано представлена. Севастополь зараз представлений тільки однією пам'яткою і одним фото, Крим — 12 пам'яток і 51 фото. Детальніше — у таблиці:

Цього року у конкурсі є вісім спеціальних номінацій:

• «Аерофото» — для фото з повітря (зроблені дронами, квадрокоптерами тощо). Для того, щоб робота потрапила на спецномінацію потрібно вибрати її у Завантажувачі;
• «Відео» — для відеосюжетів з пам'ятками;
• «Єврейська спадщина» — для об'єктів із охоронним статусом, і без нього;
• «Млини» — для об'єктів із охоронним статусом, і без нього;
• «Пам'ятки національно-визвольної боротьби» — для об'єктів із охоронним статусом, і без нього;
• «Пам'ятки Подесення» — для об'єктів із охоронним статусом, і без нього;

Ciao, ti scrivo perché negli anni scorsi hai partecipato a Wiki Loves Monuments e in particolare alla sua edizione regionale per la Puglia, Wiki Loves Puglia. Ti ricordo che il concorso torna dal 1º al 30 settembre, come ogni anno, e che puoi caricare sin da ora le tue fotografie! Novità di quest'anno, oltre all'aggiunta di alcuni comuni tra cui Taranto, è l'arrivo di tutti i castelli e di tutte le fortificazioni d'Italia, nonché di Puglia. Puoi caricare le foto dei monumenti partecipanti sempre tramite le liste su Wikipedia in italiano, mentre l'elenco delle wikigite, cioè le passeggiate fotografiche, previste e altre informazioni su premi e giuria si trovano qui. Premiazione e mostra fotografica di Wiki Loves Puglia 2022

Grazie di aver partecipato a Wiki Loves Puglia 2022. Vorrei informarti che la premiazione del concorso regionale si terrà il 10 dicembre alle 18:00 presso la Sala del Colonnato del Palazzo della Città metropolitana di Bari (Lungomare Nazario Sauro 27). Contestualmente verrà inaugurata la mostra fotografica delle edizioni 2020, 2021 e 2022 che rimarrà esposta fino all’8 gennaio 2023 e poi girerà per le città della Puglia, tra cui Brindisi (a seguire, dal 14 febbraio al 14 marzo 2023 presso il Palazzo Granafei-Nervegna). This year will be the seventeenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2022) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

Oltre ai 20.000 monumenti già in concorso, quest’anno si aggiungono più di 60.000 edifici religiosi, tema centrale di quest’edizione. Prendi la tua macchina fotografica, o il tuo smartphone, e individua i monumenti in concorso tramite la nuova web-app – disponibile sia da mobile che desktop – app.wikilovesmonuments.it, da cui potrai anche caricare direttamente i tuoi scatti. Sono ammesse anche foto scattate prima del concorso, purché siano inedite.

A livello nazionale verranno premiate le dieci migliori fotografie: cinque per gli edifici religiosi e cinque per le altre categorie di monumenti; queste immagini parteciperanno anche alla fase internazionale del concorso. Ritorna anche quest'anno, per la quinta edizione, il concorso regionale di Wiki Loves Monuments dedicato alla Puglia: Wiki Loves Puglia. A partire da quest'anno partecipano anche tutte le chiese e gli edifici religiosi; c'è anche un'altra novità: le fotografie verranno caricate su Wikimedia Commons attraverso la nuova app del concorso.
