Help needed with my SVG file![edit]

I'm trying to create the flag of Chabad Lubavitch in SVG format, and i have a problem with adding the text Mashiach (משיח) to the flag.

Hi Harry, thank you very, very much for this photo, I was disappointed that the white house or the state department do not publish any free media after his visit to the US, but thanks to you we finaly have a very good image to replace File:Morgan Tsvangirai, VOA January 15 2009.jpg which I once found on VOA but never liked. Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

just FYI, a discussion has started on the village pump about the requirements in your attribution template. Custom licensing requirements[edit]

Hello Harrywad,

I stumbled upon a photo of yours and discovered your attribution requirement Template:harry, which currently states that the image description must not contain "using words that can be considered offensive".

I think you need to either remove this condition or delete your files from the Commons. You have to understand that this requirement is fundamentally incompatible with the terms of the CC-by-sa license. You can of course add such a custom condition as an alternative to the CC-by-sa license (this would be a dual-licensing). However, if this not-considered-offensive-description condition is an unconditional requirement for you then this is not compatible with Commons’ policies for licensing.

I suggest you re-word your requirements in your template as soon as you can so as to avoid conflict. Thank you, Ariadacapo (talk) 09:37, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
