Rio-Antirio Bridge

Hi Eusebius. Sorry for disturbing you. I think your Rio-Antirio bridge is under slightly unsure deletion conditions, see Commons:Deletion requests/File:Rio-Antirio bridge.jpg, which has been reopened. I was thinking if you could upload it on the English Wikipedia and use the US Freedom of Panorama license. See also this picture which uses US Freedom of Panorama License: File:Ioannis_Kapodistrias_Airport_in_Corfu.jpg. I could have uploaded your picture myself and I would have given you the credit for the picture of course. But I just want to see if you want to do it by yourself. Merci beaucoup. Dr.K. Hi. Thanks for your message. However, for reasons I'm not sure I wish to expose/discuss, I will probably not do that myself. By the way, I'm curious about whether you can do it yourself, since the picture is probably not freely licensed after all (but I'll let that question to a bored lawyer, I will not bother you if you choose to upload the picture on en.WP). Thank you Eusebius for the reply. It's ok if you don't want to upload it at en.wiki. But I think that only for the purposes of Commons this picture may not be freely licensed. Since you are the original author and you released it under GFDL and CC 3.0, anyone can upload it at en.wiki adding the US FOP license. In any case any such upload will have to credit you as per the license terms, which I will do if I upload it. Dr.K. (talk) 22:30, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

Keeping track of image use

Hi there, I saw your impressive "who uses my images?" page and would like to ask...How do you keep track of the usage of your images? I'd love to find out where my images are used. Thanks! --Tommi Nummelin (talk) 13:57, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

Hi. Actually, I don't keep track anymore. It used to take me a significant amount of time. I used to make Google Images searches (including searches for similar pictures) and tineye searches. Nothing really automated! Also, I used a custom license tag asking reusers to notify me. I hope this answers your question. Regards, --Eusebius (talk) 14:05, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

Demande d'aide j'espère pas périmée

Je sais bien que tu ne veux plus considérer le projet VI, mais je me permets de réclamer auprès de toi une aide que tu avais proposée voilà deux ans, au cours de cette discussion.
Pour ajouter une galerie "Bridges" aux galeries VI "Places/Buildings", est-ce que ce que j'ai préparé en pages de brouillon suffit et est-ce que la syntaxe est correcte ?

'Places/Buildings/Bridges',
'Places/Buildings/Other',

Comment se génère le modèle {{Commons:Valued images by topic/Places/Buildings/Bridges}} ? Ou bien cela suffit-il ? Si oui, je chercherai un admin' pour faire la manip sur MediaWiki:VIhelper.js, en parallèle avec la création de la nouvelle galerie.

Houlà, tu fais appel à des vieux souvenirs, j'espère que je ne vais pas dire de bêtises... De mémoire, j'avais fait en sorte qu'il ne soit pas nécessaire de modifier le code du bot, donc ce que tu dis doit être suffisant. Quant à Commons:Valued images by topic/Places/Buildings/Bridges, ce n'est pas un modèle mais une simple inclusion de page, et ce que j'y ai mis devrait fonctionner.
