There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful informations about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.

Censorship or protection of personal rights and human dignity[edit]

You seem to mix up the protection of personal rights with censorship and obscurantism. To me the protection of personal rights as a part of human rights, especially those of children and people with a handicap, is a vital part of enlightenment. That comes before any freedom of coverage which found it's limitation in privacy, personal rights and human dignity. People are no marketable good, people are no slaves of the freedom of information. It is a task of any enligtended community and society to protect those who are not strong enogh to keep their rights for themselves. That is no censorship, however difficult it is to distinguish clearly and not to cross the boundaries. --Eva K. tell me about it 11:25, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion an obscurantism is a e.g. when somebody try to hide sth that is obscen (in his/her view) pretending that hi/she is protectecting "children and people with a handicap". I havent observed any handicap people here on these pictures. The known photograped took some bunch of naked posed photos with beutiful young woman. There are any evidence that these models were forced to pose. In contrary they seem to be happy doing it. And some people try to find by force a "proof" that there is sth uncler with these pictures. I understend that some people do not like such pictures. But we are not talking about a taste or a lack of a taste but about artistic (and not only artistic) freedom ... One of aims of art is to brake tastes and convenanses, too. Regards Electron (talk) 14:48, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Warning sign
This media was probably deleted.
Thanks for uploading File:SS_Fryderyk_Chopin.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the No permission since tag with on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded (:File:SS_Fryderyk_Chopin.jpg) and the above demanded information in your request.

Masur (talk) 14:01, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • o niczym to nie swiadczy. Pokazac ci CV w GW? Nota bene na wikipedii? Gazety rzadza sie innymi prawami - np prawem cytatu, albo FU. A rzeczone zdjecie mogli znalezc nie indziej niz wlasnie tutaj. Masur (talk) 22:48, 24 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • widzisz.
Masur (talk) 16:52, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Electron!
Tip: Add categories to your files
Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

Fantastycznie! Czemu mialoby ci byc przykro? Jeszcze raz dzieki. Mike Godwin have stated that photos of costumes do not infringe on the copyrights of the designer, and concensus on Commons have agreed on his stance (see this email and deletion request). Jappalang (talk) 21:33, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please feel free to nominate the category and its contents for a Deletion Request. This could deserve some clarification and perhaps some final "hard" guideline to be established. Jappalang (talk) 16:05, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Witaj!

Zauważyłem, że więcej jest kategorii People of Nazwamiasta niż People connected with Nazwamiasta. Pozdr. --Starscream (talk) 03:22, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Możesz przedstawić swoje racje używając tego samego szablonu. Istotnie, trwało to zaskakująco krótko. Pozdr. --Starscream (talk) 16:59, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
