To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate topic pages, categories, optionally galleries, or both of them (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.

You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.

The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on the Commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!

Saw an image you uploaded....[edit]

I saw Japan's First Electric products in the stream of new uploads and really liked it. It is one of the funnier displays I have ever seen, either in real life or via photographs. It actually inspired me to add a new collection on my user page because I see these images that are really great for one reason or another, yet don't or won't get the approval from the people who approve things or, like this one of yours, where it is quite funny but no place to put it to say 'look, isn't that funny?'

I also do not want to offend you because I found the display in the photograph to be funny. It has all of those appliance that occurred here (in USA) in the 1950s except for that one little electronic devise with the screen display. There is a childs song here, I remember it from a recording that was made in the seventies that my grandma got for me (I was too old for it except the music was really good) "o/~ One of these things is not like the others o/~. I kind of grew into that song, maybe.

Major image loss: Image Kanda church.JPG[edit]

Hello,

A mistake from developer Tim Starling resulted in the accidental deletion of 496 full-resolution images, which means that the original version is gone, but not the thumb version. A list of the affected images at Wikimedia Commons was made by PatrícaR and can be found here. As one of your images was found on the list, I'm asking you if you could re-upload the image Kanda church.JPG from your hard disk, with the comment Restoring image, see [http://lists.wikimedia.org/pipermail/commons-l/2008-September/004148.html].
