  1. This template (its redirects) should close a div that is opened with {{Delh}}, {{Udelh}}, thts the main purpose. And so it was used.
  2. Why do old discussion like Commons:Deletion requests/Image:Adiparashakti.jpg now have some strange and unwanted , per above. ~~~~ at the bottom of the page? If you change something on such a simple templates it should not affect any old inclusions.
  3. Why do I produce the same unwanted "per above" thing if I close an undeletion request following the instructions at COM:UNDEL on how to close a discussion? I gave my reason above the {{Udelf}} already, an additional field is not required.

This changes arent explained anywhere but affect my editing and the result of my editing in an unwanted way. Thats half-baked. --Martin H. (talk) 11:04, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I couldn't reply faster; was on holiday. I have reverted your reverting in good faith; I need to look into the issue while it is at work. While deploying this template, there were such odd characters here and there; only realizing that it were editor errors, and not the template itself.

More importantly, all previous Delf usages are redirected to {{DeletionFooter/Old}}, so reverting this template really doesn't change anything. It could be that you're looking at a redirect that hasn't been targeted to the old page. Rehman 11:53, 18 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
