English: In white haloed cat eyes the eye colour is restricted to an inner ring around the pupil, fading to white around the outside of the iris. For green irises the ring will be white-yellow. It is a rare effect, and most often seen in blue-eyed white cats.
Halo rings are different from hazel eyes, where the colours (golden yellow to green) gradually blend together. The halo ring is constant, while colouration distribution in hazel eyes can change depending on light conditions. Be cautious of misinterpreting golden yellow-green hazel eyes as halo rings.
