English: Central heterochromia in eyes appears as two clearly distinctive rings of different colours. Central heterochromia is different from hazel eyes, where the colours (golden yellow to green) gradually blend together. The central heterochromic rings are constant, while colouration distribution in hazel eyes can change depending on light conditions. Be cautious of misinterpreting golden yellow-green hazel eyes as central heterochromia.
Only use this category for fully developed adult cat eyes (from 6 months and older), for a similar presentation in kittens use: Category:Undeveloped kitten eye colors.
