Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.

Picture of the Year voting round 1 open[edit]

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2012 Picture of the Year competition is now open. We're interested in your opinion as to which images qualify to be the Picture of the Year for 2012. Voting is open to established Wikimedia users who meet the following criteria:

Users must have an account, at any Wikimedia project, which was registered before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC].
This user account must have more than 75 edits on any single Wikimedia project before Tue, 01 Jan 2013 00:00:00 +0000 [UTC]. Please check your account eligibility at the POTY 2012 Contest Eligibility tool.
Users must vote with an account meeting the above requirements either on Commons or another SUL-related Wikimedia project (for other Wikimedia projects, the account must be attached to the user's Commons account through SUL).

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. From professional animal and plant shots to breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historically relevant images, images portraying the world's best architecture, maps, emblems, diagrams created with the most modern technology, and impressive human portraits, Commons features pictures of all flavors.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topic categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you can vote for as many images as you like. The first round category winners and the top ten overall will then make it to the final. In the final round, when a limited number of images are left, you must decide on the one image that you want to become the Picture of the Year.

Selamlar. Sen bu dosyada fotoğrafın fotoğrafını çekmişsin, öyle değil mi? Bu şekilde çekim yapınca telif hakları sana geçmiyor, lisans uygunsuz gözüküyor. Şuraya göre Kıbrıs Cumhuriyeti'nde, yapı içinde bulunan ve telif hakları başkasında olan eserlerin fotoğrafının çekilip yayımlanması da serbest değil. Selamlar @Rapsar: Yapı içerisinde olduğu sonucuna nereden vardığını öğrenebilir miyim? Dikkat edeceğin üzere telif açıklamasında "fotoğraf bana ait, telif hakları bana aittir" demiştim. Aile büyüklerim tarafından bana verilmiş olan, kişisel koleksiyonumun parçası olan kendisiyle çekilmiş bir fotoğraftan çekmiştim. Scanlamakla aynı iş ancak o dönem kolay ulaşabileceğim bir scanner olmadığından fotoğraf çektim. Bu öyle gazeteden falan alınma bir fotoğraf değil tabii ki, aile büyüklerimden birinin kendisiyle olan fotoğrafı. Kişisel detay fazla vermek istemiyorum; ancak Kıbrıs çok büyük olmayan ve o dönem tek bir kız lisesi olan (Kamran Hanım o lisede görevliydi) bir yerdir desem, sanırım ki yeterli olur. Yoksa orada burada bulduğum eski fotoğrafların fotoğrafını çekerek Commons'a yükleyemeyeceğimin farkındayım, olmasam şu an eski Kıbrıs biyografilerinin tamamında resim olurdu :) Hassasiyetin için teşekkürler, endişeye mahal yok. --Seksen iki yüz kırk beş (talk) 22:48, 30 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Selam. Yeni maddeler açıyormuşsunuz. "Kiprıs"ın kalbimde özel bir yeri var. O sayfalardan uzak duruyorum ama burada ve Vikiveride katkıda bulunuyorum. Sizden ricam biraz o çocuklara Commons ve VV'yi öğretin. Mesela Tekke Bahçesi Şehitliği yapmışlar ama VV yoktu; ben başlattım. Birileri devam eder umarım. TR'de madde açarken kimsenin aklına bilgi kutusu gelmiyor. Buradaki kategorilerden de haberleri olmadığı için ne doğru resimleri kullanabiliyorlar ne de maddelere "Commonscat" eklemek akıllarına geliyor. (Bazıları bilmediğinden, onlara öğretilebilir, ama bazıları da tembelliğinden hep topu taca atar. Mesela biri bir valiyi burada kaymakam ulamlarına ekledi, düzeltmesini söyleyince de hiç üstüne alınmadı. Oysa başkası onun çöplüğünde böyle davransa hemen basar engeli...) Bakın yine galiba oralarda admin olan biri bir dizi Karaoğlanoğlu resmi eklemiş, kategori filan hak getire. Ben birşeyler yaptım. Bu arada bütün Kiprıs (yani KK :) ulamlarını da elden geçirdim. Hayır, madalya filan beklemiyorum ama -10 kez filan gittim- gelecek sefere Niyazi'nin yerinde bir şeftalinizi yerim. :) Şu sizin yüklediğiniz yavru vatan resimlerinin bağlantısını buraya, el altına bırakın da ben ara sıra yine kategorileştiririm onları.
