Thanks for uploading File:Christian Leye 02 (cropped).jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.

Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own).

The file probably has been deleted. If you sent a permission, try to send it again after 14 days. Do not re-upload. When the VRT-member processes your mail, the file can be undeleted. Additionally you can request undeletion here, providing a link to the File-page on Commons where it was uploaded ([[:File:Christian Leye 02 (cropped).jpg]]) and the above demanded information in your request.

Thanks, DCB. I cropped a file. If the file that I cropped from gets deleted, I don't understand why the Commons process isn't to also delete all the crops. That needs no discussions nor notifications to my mind; whoever does the deleting should also be tasked with nuking the crops. Schwede66 22:36, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yours sincerely, Belbury (talk) 13:27, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what happened there, Belbury. Let me dig out the permission email. Schwede66 14:37, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. I've found the correspondence between the general secretary of the Green Party, me, and the Permissions Team. I'll forward that to the Permissions Team once more and will point them to this conversation. Schwede66 18:55, 10 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Right, I've had some back-and-forth with the Permissions Team. That should sort itself shortly, Belbury. I note that Kahurangi Carter should not be in the above list as that's the file for which the sample permission was supplied (which I had assumed we can apply to all the other files from this batch). Schwede66 04:43, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for sorting that, that all sounds good. Apologies for missing the permission on the Carter photo, I was just doing a text search for the phrase "uploader will deal with VRT" and tagging all such files, after checking a bunch of them manually. Belbury (talk) 09:54, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, this got held up at the Green Party end ("just been a bit of a busy time for us recently"), Belbury, and the files have been deleted. The permissions email went in some 24 hours ago. That will resolve any issues with crops as well, e.g. the one flagged by Seawolf35 below. Schwede66 01:49, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to hear it on the timing. As I understand the process, the files will be undeleted when the permission is acknowledged. Thanks for sorting it out. Belbury (talk) 14:12, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that’s correct. I’m not worried; it’ll sort itself out. Schwede66 16:55, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Everything has been undeleted, Belbury. Schwede66 01:58, 28 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
File:Lycoperdon pyriforme (Pear shaped puffball).jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

That deletion request is baffling. Schwede66 22:22, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
