You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. Goodies, tips, and tricks Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities. You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads. Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Federal Cases 28.djvu @ archive.org

The file is broken, or broken sufficiently so that Commons is unable to deal with it. My suggestion would be ask for the file to be rederived at archive.org, and we can try an upload after that has occurred.  — billinghurst sDrewth 16:47, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

I am trying to create a djvu from a pdf on my machine using pdfwdjvu.exe. We'll see how that works out. RJC (talk) 17:00, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Well, I got the file up, but it doesn't have any text attached. Where is the OCR button the index edit page speaks of? Do I need to have a special gadget installed? RJC (talk) 01:28, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

The OCR bot is no longer operational, it was a toy of the developer. No one else has the tool and nor seems willing to step in that direction. :-(  — billinghurst sDrewth 08:39, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

Archive.org has a text file of the broken djvu. Is there an easy way to match that to the version I created or note it on the index file? RJC (talk) 13:11, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

Not until it is fixed. Ask for it to be rederived, they are pretty good about doing so, and once requested it only takes a day or so.  — billinghurst sDrewth 11:10, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
