Die Regelschutzfrist für das von dieser Datei gezeigte Werk ist nach den Maßstäben des deutschen, österreichischen und schweizerischen Urheberrechts (70 Jahre nach dem Tod des Urhebers) vermutlich abgelaufen. Es ist daher vermutlich gemeinfrei.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2017 is open!

You are receiving this message because you voted in R1 of the 2017 Picture of the Year contest, but not yet in R2.

Dear Petrus3743,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2017 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the twelfth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2017) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top 2 from each sub-category.

In the final round, you may vote for a maximum of three images. The image with the most votes will become the Picture of the Year 2017.

Round 2 will end on 22 July 2018, 23:59 UTC.

Gezeichnet und veröffentlicht hat es Frans van Schooten im Jahr 1657. Ich habe es aus der angezeigten Internetseite mit dem Werkzeug „Snipping Tool“ kopiert und im Programm GIMP 2.10.8 zuerst exportiert als SVG-Datei (01-Parabelzirkel-Frans van Schooten.svg) in Commons hochgeladen. Diese Datei im Format SVG war aber im Artikelentwurf Parabelzirkel des Frans van Schooten nicht sichtbar (!), deshalb habe ich schließlich das Bild nochmals, aber dieses Mal als PNG-Datei in Commons hochgeladen. Anschließend hat der Benutzer TilmannR eine neue Datei im Format SVG generiert. @Johannes Kalliauer, das Bild Hyperbelzirkel ist aus dem Werk EXERCITATIONUM MATHEMATICARUM LIBRI QUINQUE von Frans van Schooten aus dem Jahr 1657 (E-Book kostenlos, Buch bei Google Play, Allgemeine Nutzungsbedingungen). Der Link hierzu ist in der Beschreibung ist vorhanden. Ich habe es aus der angezeigten Internetseite mit dem Werkzeug „Snipping Tool“ kopiert und im Programm GIMP 2.10.8 zuerst exportiert als SVG-Datei (01-Parabelzirkel-Frans van Schooten.svg) in Commons hochgeladen. Jetzt brauche ich deine Hilfe, vielleicht habe ich mich nicht richtig ausgedrückt: Wenn man folgenden Link anklickt EXERCITATIONUM MATHEMATICARUM LIBRI QUINQUE von Frans van Schooten aus dem Jahr 1657, dann ist auf der linken Seite zu lesen „E-BOOK KOSTENLOS“. Von dieser Seite 357 habe ich die Zeichnung des Parabelzirkels kopiert und als PNG-Datei auf Commons hochgeladen. Da das E-Book kostenlos ist, findet man es nicht auf der Seite „Bücher bei Google Play kaufen und herunterladen“. Frage, was hätte ich besser machen müssen? Warum wurde der Eintrag in „Datum“ in den Dateien File:01-Parabelzirkel-Frans_van_Schooten.svg und File:01-Parabelzirkel-Frans_van_Schooten.png entfernt? Das ist doch m. E. das Datum, das man beim Hochladen einer Datei angibt. --Petrus3743 (talk) 10:37, 14 February 2019 (UTC)

@Mrmw: Auch wenn es dir (und mir) noch so weh tut: es wird eher schwierig sein, Tool-Anwender fur den SVG-Code zu interessieren, und noch schwieriger, sie fur Texteditor-basierte Grafiken zu begeistern. Wir haben hundertausende SVG-Grafiken die auf 1% reduziert werden konnen! Oder wenn ich mir die PDF-DATA von Hagar66 und TUBS ansehe - ich will gar nichts dazu sagen.

Die neue Kategorie

Valid SVG created with GeoGebra:Trigonometries by Petrus3743 enthalt erst sehr wenige deiner vielen Trigonometrien, weil jede einzeln manuell angefasst werden muss. Zwar kann einiges an Hilfen verwendet werden, aber bei vielen Dateien arted das dennoch in Arbeit aus. Besser ist es, immer gleich unmittelbar nach dem Hochladen diesen Schritt durchzufuhren.
Leider konnen die Hilfsmittel noch nicht alles erkennen! Es werden inzwischen meist das tool (GeoGebra) erkannt, die Validitat, eher selten dass es sich um Trigonometrien handelt, und der Benutzername wird einstweilen noch nicht ubertragen. Wenn du alle deine Grafiken auf Valididat gepruft hattest, kann ich ausnahmsweise ohne tatsachliche Prufung alle Angaben eintragen, das geht dann schnell.
Fur die kunftigen Dateien solltest du dir die Hilfsmittel einrichten, damit geht das weitgehend automatisch. -- sarang♥사랑 16:33, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

Von deinen 827 uploads habe ich 173 als nonSVG und 573 als GeoGebra-SVG kategorisiert; da sind mir irgendwie 81 Dateien durch die Lappen gegangen - vielleicht kann ich noch herausfinden, welche. Jedenfalls bin ich jetzt soweit fertig, und du kannst deine Beobachtungsliste neu aufsetzen.
Deine Frage von vorhin:
  • SVG: weiterhin lade bitte nur SVG hoch die valide sind; GeoGebra scheint rechr solide zu sein und nicht wie andere tools W3C-invalide Dateien zu erzeugen. Vertrauen ist gut, Kontrolle mit Validator vor dem Hochladen ist besser. Entweder kannst du gleich nach dem Hochladen mit dem Script die Kategorisierung vornehmen; oder da du ja bereits alle Parameter weisst kannst du selbst die Zeile |other fields={{Igen|GeoGebra|+|<|s=t|u=Petrus3743}} eingeben; dabei ist bei Dateien ganz ohne jeden Text das "<" wegzulassen, bei nur einzelnen Zeichen sollte "<v" stehen, und das "<" so wie oben bei richtigen Wortern die ubersetzbar sind.
  • PNG, GIF etc: da kann "hart" kategorisiert werden, damit du deine Dateien beisammen hast, mit [[Category:Non-SVG images by Petrus3743]]

Du benotigst den Zugriff auf das Script. Dazu musst du eine Seite User:Petrus3743/commons.js anlegen mit dem Inhalt

    • Du bekommst also den link "→SVG Igen"? Dann hat es ja gut geklappt (ubrigens, 'geklappt' ist ein Austriazismus, den man hier zwar versteht aber eher nicht verwendet; da ich aber auch von dort stamme [sogar auch Jahrgang 43] kann ich da mithalten), und wenn du auf den Link klickst passiert einiges (je nachdem wie kompliziert die Sachlage ist), und es wird dir u.a. im edit-mode ein Eintrag in |other fields= vorgeschlagen. Es sollte etwa |other fields={{Igen|GeoGebra|+|s=t}} sein, also schon mal ganz gut. Leider kann das Script nicht erkennen dass da path text enthalten ist, auch nicht welcher Art. Du solltest das also erganzen. Damit die Kategorisierung wie gewunscht erfolgt muss noch dein username rein, es soll also schliesslich |other fields={{Igen|GeoGebra|+|s=t|u=Petrus3743|<v}} dort stehen. Zur Kontrolle kannst du eine Vorschau erzeugen, und dann die Seite zuruckschreiben.

Du hast alles richtig gemacht. Aber ich hab was falsch gemacht, die Seite muss User:Petrus3743/common.js heissen, ohne das 's'. Tut mir leid, aber manchmal versage ich bei ganz einfachen Dingen... Im Moment kann ich keinen gerade aktiven Admin finden, der das schnell umnennen könnte; was das einfachste wäre. Wie gesagt: wenn du diesen Link klickst, wird dir vermutlich im edit-mode |other fields={{Igen|GeoGebra|+|s=t}} vorgeschlagen. Um zu kategorisieren musst du |u=Petrus3743 eintragen, und der Vollstandigkeit halber solltest du auch den path-text anmerken, also insgesamt |other fields={{Igen|GeoGebra|+|<v|s=t|u=Petrus3743}} als Anderung zuruckschreiben. Damit bekommst du das was du willst, und die Datei ist beschrieben und kategorisiert. Nur die Situation ob und wie Textdaten vorhanden sind ist dem GeoGebra-Code nicht zu entnehmen. Hallo Petrus, kannst du bitte mal gelegentlich meine Ausführungen in Polygon-032VC.svg überprüfen, du hast im Gegensatz zu mir die entsprechenden trigonometrischen Sachkenntnisse.
Nach dem selben System könnte ich auch mit Leichtigkeit Vielecke höherer 2er-Potenzen (zB 256, 1024, 4096...) zeichen, oder auch Tausend- oder 10.000-Ecke. Aber ob das Sinn gibt, daran Bedarf besteht, glaube ich eher nicht?

Damit ein konstruiertes Polygon (mit Zirkel und Lineal oder mithilfe eines Programm-Codes) in einem Wikipedia Artikel Verwendung finden kann, muss nach den Wikipedia-Regeln ein belastbarer Beleg aus einer sogenannten Zweitveröffentlichung (eines zweiten Autors) vorhanden sein. Erst dann macht es Sinn eine Relevanzprüfung durchzuführen.
Bezüglich des von dir erstellten 32-Ecks in Wikimedia Commons ist gut zu sehen, dass es bereits hier schwer fällt die 32 Ecken abzuzählen, d.h. Polygone mit noch höheren Eckenzahlen werden in dieser Form möglicherweise für den Leser/Betrachter auch in Wikimedia Commons uninteressant. Mit Gruß--Petrus3743 (talk) 06:38, 3 July 2021 (UTC)

Servus @Sarang: Nun, ich habe deine gute Beschreibung so verstanden, dass die Zählgröße Pixel (px) verwendet wird. Meines Erachtens wäre für einen Teil der Leser ein einleitender Hinweis (Begründung/Vorteil und vielleicht eine Umrechnung px bei dpi (?) entspricht ca. cm ...) nützlich. Ich würde z.B. den Kreisumfang mit 1000px·π angeben, in den Ergebnissen px ergänzen und – wenn es als Vergleich Sinn macht – alternativ die Längeneinheit (ca.) cm angeben. Vielleicht hast Du schon gehört, dass sich in München Wikipedianer auch außerhalb des Internets treffen? Es gibt einen monatlichen Stammtisch und es gibt mit dem WikiMUC einen Treffpunkt und Veranstaltungsraum für Wikipedianer.

Das WikiMUC in der Angertorstraße 3 (am Sendlinger Tor) ist auch Dein Ort! Dort kannst Du andere Wikipedianer treffen, Erfahrungen austauschen, Projekte planen, Probleme besprechen, Tee oder Kaffee trinken und Veranstaltungen besuchen oder organisieren. Es gibt diverse PCs, ein offenes WLAN, eine Fotoausrüstung – die man auch ausleihen kann – und einen schnellen DIN-A3-Buchscanner. Darüber hinaus unternehmen wir regelmäßig Exkursionen und Wanderungen. Schau einfach mal unverbindlich vorbei. Kostet nix. Verpflichtet zu nix. Wir freuen uns auf Dich!

If you can make a 13-gon on that website that would be cool... I think things made on GeoGebra is difficult to make it that site because when you cut a line to n segments or transfer a length (book 1 proposition 2) for example you tend to make a mistake somewhere... Unfortunately I don't know the sciencevsmagic.net drawing program. In GeoGebra you can, for example, classically divide a line segment using the axis with n parts ..., or draw the circle with input r1/n.
• It is important q.e.d. for complex approximationsː calculation of the error, simple length transfer, simple description of the design and reduced effort of already well-known compasses and ruler constructions (q.e.d. dividing a line segment into n parts).
I am not familiarizing myself with a new program in which I can only present my design with great effort, if at all. So unfortunately I can not help you with this problem ...

Hi Petrus, wie kommt es eigentlich, dass du deine Bildnamen alle mit dem Präfix "01" anfängst? Ein einheitlicher Präfix ist ja schön und gut um nicht den Überblick zu verlieren - aber da gibt es bessere Methoden. Dieser Präfix hat den kleinen Schönheitsfehler, dass er deine Bilder an den Anfang jeder Kategorie sortiert. Leider benutzen einige Schlauköpfe systematisch Namen wie "+00000004 Bla" oder "! Bla", um ihre Bilder an den Anfang von Kategorie-Seiten zu bringen (als sei das hier Google). Für solche Fälle habe ich irgendwann mal die Kategorie Spam race eingeführt, in der jetzt auch einige deiner Geometrie-Bilder sind. (Gelegentlich kommt ein Admin vorbei, und benennt die Bilder um. Das dauert aber.) Ich hoffe jetzt mal, dass du nicht auch diese Art von SEO betreibst, und es dir eher darum geht, dass deine Bilder in der Sortierung zusammen bleiben. Dafür würde ich dir eher die Kategorisierung in image sets empfehlen. Damit wäre auch der SEO-Beigeschmack aus der Welt, und man könnte die Namen ruhig so lassen. Ich hab z.B. schonmal Triangle geometry (set 01) und Set of platonic solids; blue edges and three spheres (PNG) erstellt. (Die Benennung von Bilderserien ist immer so eine Sache. Da waren einige Polygone drin. Die hab ich jetzt aber rausgenommen, und schonmal einige in Unterkategorien von Regular polygons (set 01) verschoben. Du kannst gerne weitermachen. Das Ziel ist, dass deine Polygonbilder alle da drin sind. Im Fall von Regular heptadecagons (set 01) sind es so viele Bilder, dass sich eine Unterkategorie lohnt. In Regular pentagons dagegen hast du nur zwei. Die habe ich nur hinzugefügt (im Gegensatz zu verschoben).
Ja, Sets können den Effekt haben, dass Bilder auf den ersten Blick schwerer zu finden sind. (Zumindest wenn sie vorher unter den ersten 200 in der Kategorie waren.) Das ist vor Allem dann der Fall, wenn die Sets selber nochmal in Bla by image set versteckt sind. Ich habe jetzt mal angefangen mit einer Alternative zu experimentieren, nämlich einem Emoji als Sortierschlüssel. (Siehe z.B. Triangle geometry, Regular tridecagons.) Mal gucken, ob sich jemand daran stört. Ich hoffe, dass irgendwann ein eigener Namespace eingeführt wird, so dass Sets in einer Kategorie mit Thumbnails angezeigt werden (siehe hier).

Deine Animation zur affinen Abbildung

Deine Animation zur affinen Abbildung enthält meiner Meinung nach einen kleinen Fehler. Müsste der Strahl des von P' bzw. P im 4eck-Polygon gegenüberliegenden Eckpunktes nicht gestrichelt sein, da er nach Durchlaufen der Strecke vom einen Eck' zu Eck sich ja hinter dem grün eingerahmten 4-eck Polygon befindet und nicht davor.

bitte bedenke, dies sind keine Lichtstrahlen, sondern projizierende (geometrische) Strahlen. Wenn du auf das aufgeklappte Bild siehst, haben in dieser Situation die projizierten Bildpunkte auf der Ebene und stets den gleichen Abstand zur x-Achse.
Ja schon, aber der Abstand sollte doch sicher den Abstand von Eckpunkt zu Eckpunkt zeigen und auch der ist immer stets gleich zur x-Achse. Momentan endet der durchgehende Strahl praktisch in den zwei Kanten des Polygons und läuft an diesen abwechselnd entlang, er endet nicht an seinem gespiegelten Eckpunkt. --84.140.206.233 19:50, 17 April 2024 (UTC)

Gerne, da du die Grafik aber nun upgedated hast, beziehe ich mich auf die vorherige Version, also folgende unter diesem Link. Wenn die beiden Ebenen E1 und E2 einen rechten Winkel bilden, dann ist die Gerade, die ich meine, die zweite von unten. Man erkennt sie daran, dass ihr Anteil, bei der sie eine durchgezogene Linie bildet, weitergeht, als ihr Eckpunkt, an dem der durchgezogene Linienanteil eigentlich enden sollte. Der durchgezogene Linienanteil geht bei dieser Geraden weiter bis zum Rand des grün umrandeten Polygons und am Polygon streicht dieser durchgezogene Linienanteil der Geraden praktisch an der Kante des Polygons entlang. Alle anderen Geraden enden ihre durchgezogene Linie an ihrem Eckpunkt und nach dem Eckpunkt geht es gestrichelt weiter. So sollte es meiner Meinung nach auch bei dieser Geraden sein. Das würde auch dazu führen, dass die Grafik symmetrisch aussehen würde. An der Eigenschaft, dass die grestrichelte Linie von Eckpunkt zu ihrem Eckpunkt dann immer gleich lang wäre, würde sich nichts ändern.
Und falls diese Beschreibung noch nicht reicht, nehmen wir mal folgende Benennung an. Wir nehmen das weiße Polygon mit der grünen Umrandung, dort fangen wir beim Punk P an und nummerieren die Eckpunkte im Uhrzeigersinn durch. Damit hätten wir die Eckpunkte P (bzw. P0), P1, P2 und P3. Nach P3 würde somit wieder der Punkt P kommen. Und der Eckpunkt mit der Geraden, die ich meine, wäre somit Eckpunkt P2. Sobald die Gerade also P2 erreicht, müsste sie aufhören, durchgezogen zu sein und dann gestrichelt weitergehen. Momentan ist das nicht der Fall, der durchgezogene Anteil geht weiter bis zu den gegenüberliegenden Kanten um dort dann an diesen entlang zu fahren. 84.140.206.233 11:06, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
Danke für diese ausführliche Erklärung. Ich musste ein wenig schmunzeln, da ich erst jetzt weiß was du gemeint hast. Denke dir das weiße Drachenviereck einmal als durchsichtiges Fenster... Die Konstruktion ist so ausgeführt, d.h. der betreffende Strahl verläuft in den sichtbaren Hintergrund. Danke du hast es gut gemeint! Einen kleinen Fehler hatte die Zeichnung schon, auf den hast du mich damit aufmerksam gemacht: Wenn die beiden Ebenen und einen Winkel 180° bilden, darf kein Strahl einen gepunkteten Teil haben, denn alle 4 sind im Vordergrund. Jetzt verstehe ich, wie du es meinst. Die Geraden sollen deiner Meinung nach wie Lichtstrahlen sein und das Polygon ist aus der Ebene E1 herausgeschnitten, die Ebene E1 kann man sich als Stück Papier vorstellen, mit dem Polygon als Ausschnitt. Mathematisch betrachtet finde ich das allerdings aus den obigen Gründen verwirrend. Ich würde vorschlagen, das weiße Polygon komplett in Grün einzufärben und dann, wie beschrieben die durchgehende Linie in ihrem zugehörigen Eckpunkt P2 enden zu lassen und dahinter gestrichelt weiterlaufen zu lassen. Letzten Ende geht es ja auch nur um die Abstände zwischen Eckpunkt zu Eckpunk', also bezüglich P2 von P2 zu P2'. Und dass die Geraden alle parallel zueinander sind, sieht man ja auch dann noch, wenn sie gestrichelt sind. 84.140.206.233 13:40, 18 April 2024 (UTC)
