Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.

Spoštovani gospod, v prejšnjem sporočilu sem bil žal morda netočen - zadnji stavek (Moram narediti še kaj?) se je nanašal samo na to sliko. Lahko sam odstranim Vaše sporočilo z njene strani? Glede ostalih slik sem že pisal slovenskemu OTRS prostovoljcu Yerpu in mu poslal osnutek dopisa, s katerim bi dediča uredila vprašanje OTRS dovoljenja za vse slike Tomaža Planine, glede drugih slik bom tudi še ukrepal, vendar v hipu vsega ne morem narediti... Spoštovani, hvala za dodane podatke. Sporočilo sem z opisne strani slike odstranil. Glede na to, da ste stopili v stik z Yerpom, predvidevam, da bo zadeva kmalu urejena tudi glede preostalih slik. Čas, da pošljete dovoljenje, je omejen na 14 dni; potem se slike izbrišejo. Seveda pa jih lahko pozneje znova naložite, če pridobite dovoljenje. Spoštovani gospod, samo eno željo imam še. Vaša avtoriteta in vpliv na Wikimedia Commons sta, v nasprotju z menoj, znatna, in zato bi Vam bil zelo hvaležen, če bi poskusili doseči spremembo v dialogu čarovnika za nalaganje novih prispevkov na ta portal (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:UploadWizard). Takoj za prvim zaslonom z izbiro "Select media files to share" sledi izbira kdo je avtor dela: "This file is my own work." oziroma "This file is not my own work." Če se nalagalec odloči za drugo opcijo, mu je takoj ponujena navedba vira (Source) in v njej, če se odloči za spletni naslov: "The copyright holder published this work with the right Creative Commons license" in tako naprej. Skratka, videti je, kot da če je delo že objavljeno na strani, kjer so dela dostopna po CC-BY SA 4.0, bo vse v redu. Temu pa ni tako in tu bi moralo biti opozorilo, da se ne bi še kdo, verjamem da je takih mnogo, ujel v zanko, v kakršno sem se jaz. Moji znanci se na splošno bojijo dela na vikipediji, odvrača jih že strah pred kodiranjem besedila in nevidno mašinerijo, ki ureja vse te postopke. Ko pa se temu pridružijo še nedorečenosti, kakršna je naprimer ta pri nalaganju slik, je strah še večji. Posledice uporabnikove zmote so namreč velike in daljnosežne. Črne pike v uporabnikovem historiatu so neizbrisne in bodo tam tudi še, ko ga ne bo več med nami. Vsem na razpolago in v opomin. Pa tudi pisanje članka o neki osebi, ilustriranega s slikami, se hitro spremeni iz najprej tako izgledajočega nekajdnevnega opravila v večmesečni projekt. Kar sicer ni nič narobe, le dobro je vedeti. Zato bom zelo hvaležen, če Vam bo uspelo karkoli narediti za to, da bodo nalagalci slik, ki niso njihovo delo, že takoj na začetku vedeli, naj se najprej lotijo OTRS izjav. Spoštovani, hvala za odličen predlog. Uporabniški vmesnik sem posodobil, tako da zdaj vsebuje obvestilo o tem tudi v slovenskem jeziku, angleška različica pa je to informacijo že vključevala. Vaš pomislek seveda razumem. Upam, da vas to ne bo odvrnilo od sodelovanja, da boste uspeli urediti tudi avtorskopravni vidik naloženih slik in da boste nadaljevali s prispevanjem. --TadejM ^(t/p) 00:43, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Spoštovani gospod TadejM, z veliko muko spravljam skupaj OTRS izjave za vse fotografije, ki sem jih v zmoti naložil in ste jih potem 10. januarja označili kot kandidate za izbris. Dali ste mi 15 dni časa, da preskrbim izjave OTRS, se pravi do 25. januarja. Za 16 teh fotografij so izjave prišle že 12. januarja, a ker prostovoljci OTRS potrebujejo nekaj časa, da jih udejanijo, je bilo tudi to prepozno. Kot lahko vidite spodaj, se je Vaš kolega, administrator Fitindia (doslej je na Wikimedia Commons izbrisal že 95.000 datotek), danes zjutraj lotil dela in jih 7 že zmetal v smeti. Od tega štiri take, za katere so izjave OTRS prišle že 12. januarja. Če bi vedel, da sporočilu, da imam za ureditev problema 15 dni časa, ne gre verjeti, bi vsaj opise izbrisanih fotografij prej shranil. In strani, na katerih so bile slike uporabljene, mi ne bi bilo treba zdaj popravljati. Več kot vem o teh stvareh, bolj žalostno je vse skupaj. PJakopin (talk) 08:34, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
