description language in italian[edit]

hello Noebu, hello can I ask a favor? the next time you load mass of images you can upload already set with the description in Italian? I ask for your help because doing it manually is a huge job and since you're Swiss and photographs taken place in Switzerland (where Italian is the official language) is more complete that there is a description in this language. (especially when it comes to cars effect by Italy it is home: P) Unfortunately, it is a practice that few are here on commons and each time I have to do it by hand. Umbenennungen Flugzeugbilder[edit]

Hallo Noebu. Ich möchte gerne Kontakt mit Dir aufnehmen, bevor es zu Verschiebungen kommt.

Deine Flugzeugbilder sind meist als 2015-08-12-ZRH 6020 oder 2015-08-12 Planespotting-ZRH oder ähnlich benannt. Ich bin kein Paragraphenreiter, aber die WP-Richtlinie Commons:File renaming, hier insbesondere "Which files should be renamed?" finde ich den doch sehr sinnvoll: Punkt 2.: "To change from a meaningless or ambiguous name to a name that describes what the image displays." Näher erläutert noch einmal in der Fußnote 2., Erläuterungen Punkt 7: "... that do not describe the subject of the file." Genau das ist der Punkt: Die jetzigen, im Text mehrfach identischen Titel sind zwar nicht "meaningless", beschreiben aber eben nicht das Motiv der Bilder (ich würde sie mal nicht als Dadaism einstufen).

Vorgesehener Inhalt des file name (aviation): Obwohl sehr oft nicht beachtet, gehören hier bei "Aircraft" nach dem uralten Konsens rein: Typ, Betreiber, evtl. noch Kennzeichen. Bereits der Aufnahmeort war damals strittig, und das Datum soll ebenso wenig rein wie der Autorenname.

Mein Vorschlag daher: Statt den jetzigen file name komplett zu überschreiben, werden einfach wenigstens die Bezeichnungen für Typ und Betreiber davor gestellt. Mit dem zusätzlichen "Planespotting-" würde es dann doch ein bisschen lang, das sollte deshalb entfallen, zumal es m. E. eigentlich keinen so richtig entscheidenden Mehrwert bringt.

Aussehen würde es dann z. B. so: "Airbus A340-300 (Swiss International Air Lines) 2015-08-12-ZRH 6020". Ich freue mich auf Deine Antwort. Viele Grüße --Uli Elch (talk) 15:22, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your VFC installation method is deprecated[edit]
