Missing information[edit]

You need to go through your contributions [1] and add your sources; e.g. where on the internet you found them. Images without this information may be deleted. Thuresson 21:49, 26 Apr 2005 (UTC)


Thank you for your help. However, before you upload further images I suggest you use the Commons:First steps (this is available in many langauges) so that you know what kind of images are allowed on WikiCommons. WikiCommons only allows images licensed under a free license, other kinds of images are not allowed and uploading them is a waste of time.

This image has no license at en: but you claim that anybody can use it for any purpose. Why?

  • Image:President DeLaRua.JPG is probably a copyright violation. You claim that anybody can use it for any purpose if the copyright holder is credited but you don't write who the copyright holder is.
  • Image:Kravchuk.jpg does not come from english Wikipedia, where did you find it?

Georgia[edit]

Pictures by soviet photographers taken before 1973 are not protected by copyright. If that is the case, it is my understanding that you may upload them to WikiCommons. You may use the template Template:PD-Soviet by adding {{PD-Soviet}} to these images.

For pictures taken after 1973 the normal rules apply. If you claim that a picture is public domain you must also write why it is public domain. Gracias por subir Image:President Odria.jpg. Me he dado cuenta de que la página de la imagen actualmente no especifica quien creó el contenido, así que el copyright no está claro. Si no has creado tu mismo esta imagen entonces es necesario que argumentes porqué la imagen se puede usar en Wikimedia Commons (ver el enlace etiquetas de copyright abajo). Si no has creado tú mismo la imagen entonces debes también especificar donde la encontrastes, por ejemplo, en la mayoría de los casos un enlace a la web donde la cogistes, y los términos de uso del contenido de esa web.

Si la imagen no tiene un etiqueta de copyright debes también añadírselo. Si creastes la imagen entonces puedes usar {{GFDL-self}} para licenciarla con GFDL o {{PD-self}} para ponerla en dominio público. Puedes mirar Etiquetas de copyright para la lista completa de etiquetas que se pueden usar.

Ten en cuenta que cualquier imagen sin fuente o sin etiqueta será borrada un semana después de que haya sido subida, como se describe en criterios para borrado rápido. Las licencias de las imágenes deben estar claras, teniendo la posibilidad cualquiera de comprobarla. No puedes suponer que, porque una página tenga una foto y no se diga nada sobre la licencia de la misma en ella, esa imagen puede se usada libremente. Con respecto a las imágenes escaneadas, el que tu escanees una imagen con copyright no te convierte en el propietario de los derechos de esa imagen. Saludos Edub 15:11, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Imágenes de Courret[edit]

¿Y? Quiero decir, ¿cómo justificas que cada imagen esté o no en el DP? En el PDF que me indicas no se dice nada sobre los derechos de autor. Para aplicar la famosa regla de los 70 años, es necesario saber el autor y fecha de la muerte de éste para justificar que la imagen esté en el DP. O, si la imagen es anónima, es necesario saber la fecha de primera publicación.

Así que, para cada imagen, necesitamos:

  • URL de la imagen original (web del archivo Courret)
  • Autor de la imagen original y fecha de la muerte de éste (para justificar el DP)
  • Si la foto es anónima, fecha de la foto y fecha de la primera publicación

Your account will be renamed[edit]

Hello,

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
