Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Kategorie-Umbenennungen

Hallo Komischn,

warum benennst Du sinnvoll klingende Kategorien wie "Bündnis 90/Die Grünen Thüringen‎" in gausames Denglisch wie "Bündnis 90/Die Grünen in Thuringia" um?

Zum einen ist ersteres nicht sachlich falsch, ich sehe daher keinen Handlungsbedarf. Nun haben wir eine völlig unnötige Kategorie-Weiterleitung.

Zum anderen ist zweiteres einfach nur peinlich - der Sprachmix zwischen Deutsch und Englisch klingt blöd und ist es auch. Falls Du jetzt mit dem Argument Eigennamen kommen solltest: "Thüringen" ist ebenso Eigenname wie "Bündnis 90/Die Grünen". Also kein Grund, eines davon ins Englische zu übersetzen und das andere nicht. Und wo steht eigentlich, dass Commons-Kategorien englische Bezeichnungen haben müssen? Das ist in sehr sehr vielen Fällen (sinnvollerweise!) ja nicht der Fall, warum also ausgerechnet hier?

Moin @Stepro, ich habe nichts umbenannt, sondern nur die Category:Bündnis 90/Die Grünen Thüringen mit der älteren Category:Bündnis 90/Die Grünen in Thuringia vereinigt und mich bei der Namensgebung an der übergeordneten Category:Bündnis 90/Die Grünen by state orientiert. @Komischn Die Kategorien sind alle in deutsch vorhanden und müssen nicht in englisch bezeichnet werden. --Olaf Kosinsky (talk) 19:10, 13 April 2016 (UTC)
