Kein Typ U3 sondern Typ U2h[edit]

Einige Bilder des Typs U2 sind irrtümlicherweise als Typ U3 bezeichnet. Der Typ U3 ist aber in der Regel nur auf der Linie U4 im Einsatz. Bei den U-Bahnwagen mit den zweigeteilten Fenstern handelt es sich um den Typ U2, der bis letztes Jahr auf den Linien U1-U3 als U2h zum Einsatz kam und derzeit noch auf der Linie U7 und mit ein paar Zügen auch auf der Linie U4 als U2e (keinen Trittstufe) eingesetzt wird. ICE-Beschriftungen[edit]

Hi, bzgl [2] und [3]: Ich denke, die Kategorien sollen beschreiben, was auf dem Bild zu sehen ist. Jedoch ist weder etwas von den Bahnhöfen auf den Bildern zu sehen, noch von Berlin im Allgemeinen. Navigiert man über den Kategorienbaum (z.B. [[::Category:Berlin Ostbahnhof]]), so haben die Fotos zu den Detailaufnahmen von Zugbeschriftungen dort m.E. nichts zu suchen, da sie niemand dort erwartet. Auch aus Sicht des Bildes wäre das Ergebnis genau das gleiche, wenn Du die Beschriftungen in einem anderen Bahnhof aufgenommen hättest. Die Information über Aufnahmeort und Zeitpunkt steckt weiterhin in den Metadaten und geht somit trotzdem nicht verloren. Viele Grüße, Andre de (talk) 22:31, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Eigentlich hast du Recht, dieses Verständnis wurde in der Vergangenheit jedoch bei den Kategorien anders angewandt, siehe zum Beispiel File:Berlin Hauptbahnhof (7357243014).jpg, File:Berlin Hauptbahnhof (7659012768).jpg, File:Jörg Steinbach.jpg und File:Leslie Mann 6781-1.jpg. Schön, dass Du es auch so siehst! Ich würde es eben einfach nebenbei bereinigen, wo es mir auffällt. Deine beiden Bilder waren mir beim Prüfen der Ostbahnhofs-Kategorie aufgefallen. Die vielen Bilder von Ingolf vom Hauptbahnhof müssen sowieso noch sortiert werden (dort gibt es ja Unterkategorien für "innen" und "außen"), dann würde ich dort natürlich den gleichen Maßstab anwenden. Sei Gegrüßt, Zunächst einmal bitte vergib mir meine schreckliche Deutsch. Ich bin ein Student an der Case Western Reserve University. Ich habe einen Aufsatz, der in Kürze in einem Volumen von Mediävistik, in dem ich beziehen sich auf die Statue von Frau Welt auf dem Wormser Dom veröffentlicht ist geschrieben. Danke für den Hinweis. Der Artikel stammt ursprünglich aus dem Sommer 2013 (siehe das „2013/08“ in der URL), in dem die Auswirkungen des Personalmangels im Stellwerk im Mainzer Hauptbahnhof so gravierend waren, dass der Bahnverkehr im westlichen Rhein-Main-Gebiet stark beeinträchtigt wurde. Seitdem wird der Artikel vom Postillon immer wieder unter einem neuen Datum veröffentlicht (wie bei vielen anderen Artikeln auch). Gruß --Jivee Blau 05:09, 5 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, hab mich drum gekümmert. Allerdings gibt es jetzt auch neue Ticket-Nummern, da ich komplett neue E-Mails verschickt habe. Es handelt sich nun um folgende Tickets: ”2018091710003479“ und ”2018091710003602“. Ich hoffe, die Freigaben werden genehmigt. Auflösung[edit]

Hallo, diese Rücksetzungsbegründung ("Auflösung deutlich verringert") verstehe ich nicht wirklich. Die Verringerung der Auflösung war ja (neben der besseren Kennzeichnung der Ampel und des Fußgängers) nun gerade der Sinn meiner Bildbearbeitung. Eine höhere Auflösung ist zur Darstellung des Sachverhalts gar nicht nötig. Und die geringere Auflösung trägt neben der Schwärzung auch dazu bei, dass man die Frau nicht erkennt. Hallo. Ich finde eine höhere Auflösung immer besser als eine geringere Auflösung, weshalb ich auch immer mit der höchsten Auflösung fotografiere. Zur besseren Anonymisierung der Frau habe ich das Gesicht jetzt zusätzlich verpixelt. Gruß --Jivee Blau 01:19, 30 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Important message for file movers[edit]

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

  • To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
  • To perform file name swaps.
  • When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning.
