Why would you want to partially change the exposure of this painting, if the artist himself wanted to be the painting like it is. Why don't you respect the choices and emotions of Degas, himself? Jan Arkesteijn (talk) 09:11, 6 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Gianni, I uploaded your tweaked version as a seperate file, File:Edgar Degas - Self-portrait ca 1857 -2.jpg. Jan Arkesteijn (talk) 11:43, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

watermark[edit]

Awesome job on this. I'm wondering how you removed the gradient? And I'm wondering if you'd also like to take a stab at this one as well? I'm thinking start with the original upload and then rotate straight. – JBarta (talk) 07:25, 28 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

St Paul's misnamed[edit]

I notice that you worked on this file. [1]. The file is seriously misnamed. And given the name of the article that it was taken from, I really don't know how or why the original uploader did this. This person has called the file "St Pauls destroyed" when it obviously should be name "St Pauls survived" or something of that sort. The present title is extremely misleading. At a casual look, a viewer might think that the rubble in the foreground is part of the cathedral.

I don't know how to change the titles of files. Do you? If so, could you please fix this one?
