I saw your tag some images as copyrighted violations, but if you go to Youtube URL, you can see the description in their video write that they already issued Creative Commons license. @Nguyen QuocTrung: I know that the YouTube clip has the CC license, but it's obvious this is a case of license laundering. The clip authors are not the copyright owners so they can't give permissions. The image is obviously from here. DHN (talk) 06:29, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Nguyen QuocTrung: I'm not an admin on Wikipedia Commons, but the answer is "it depends". If Tuoi Tre owns the copyright to the clip/image then the CC license is valid and you can use it, but if they're reusing someone else's work then you can't use it. @Nguyen QuocTrung: That image is sourced from here. Since it seems to be taken by a Tuoi Tre photographer, I'm not going to request that the image be taken down, though I doubt that the newspaper meant to release that image under the CC license. Rule of thumb is if you see a YouTube clip using just an image (not a video), chances are the video uploader don't own the rights to the images, no matter how legit they are. This falls into the "iffy" gray zone that I wouldn't want to use it in an article if there are plenty of freely available imagery. DHN (talk) 06:56, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Nguyen QuocTrung: I take that back. Looks like that image can also be found elsewhere on the web before the Tuoi tre article [1][2][3] so it's not clear Tuoi tre owns it. I'm going to request that image be removed as well. DHN (talk) 07:12, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright question[edit]

Hello, I want to ask some question. Would you mind to explain if I can use image from public website and social media?
Here are some of the sources of image and posters you nominated for deletion (if those aren’t free for all, then I won’t question the deletion)

@Daeva Trạc in most cases images published on public websites and social media are not free unless they are specifically released under a free license. For images that are too old to be under copyright (for Vietnam, usually applied to works published before 1945), you can use that as the reason. DHN (talk) 20:20, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@DHN, Ohhh, normally, when I find something interesting that I think i will be helpful for Wikpedia’s articles, I only download and try to find the author and his/her’s website (or closed related)
•For the image, I found it on social media and I should’ve linked it to Việt Tân’s website (even though it may be deleted anyway).
•For the posters, I have no official sources, so I didn’t known what to put.

Đại loại giờ một tài khoản mới nào đó xuất hiện, đang đóng góp yên lành không gây sự với ai, rồi KV/TUIJBAVE kiếm chuyện, vi phạm 3RR trắng trợn rồi tk này tố cáo ra TNCBQV, thì TP, BQV duy nhất đang hoạt động ngay lập tức sẽ mặc định đó là rối của tôi và cấm, còn KV/TUIJBAVE sẽ được tha bổng hoàn toàn vì lùi sửa của rối không bị tính là 3RR. Cái đáng nói là KV/TUIJBAVE cũng là một con rối to đùng đang danh chính ngôn thuận hoạt động luôn kìa. Cứ cho là cả tôi và người đó cùng là rối, nhưng mà xét về mức độ thiệt hại mà con rối này (tôi) và con rối kia làm ra thì khỏi nói chắc bác cũng biết cái nào kinh khủng hơn phải không? Nếu BQV duy nhất của wiki hiện tại là 1 người khác, thì sự xuất hiện của tôi nếu danh tính bị lộ khả năng cao BQV duy nhất này sẽ chả quan tâm đâu. Để dự án vi ra đến nỗi như ngày hôm nay, chắc là bác cũng không ngờ tới phải không? Một tên rối ai cũng biết là rối nhưng không bao giờ bị cấm để giờ lộng hành. Còn một BQV duy nhất hoạt động cũng lộng quyền nốt. Và BQV lộng quyền này lại là phên dậu thực sự vững chắc của con rối lộng hành kia, hai bên tung hứng qua lại lộng hành trên toàn bộ dự án. Lời đề nghị nghe thú vị đó, nhưng mà tiếc quá. Kể cả là bạn nhắm mắt làm ngơ thì cũng chả có gì chắc chắn cả. Như cái lần tôi tưởng sẽ được yên thân, nhưng P.T.Đ cũng đi tiết lộ nó rồi Nguyenhai lại moi tôi ra đó. Thật sự chả muốn phí sức mệt mỏi với mấy thứ đó nữa đâu. Tuần rồi được nghỉ tính làm từ thiện cho bên đó vài bài BCB, nhưng mà không được bao lâu Ông Trời đã giáng tín hiệu xuống nhắc kêu thôi đi rồi. Cái này Trời thương tôi, tôi cảm tạ còn không hết sao phải oán trách ai :))))) Cũng phải, sắp tới năm 2024 là năm Rồng, giáp của tôi rồi phải tận dụng thời cơ để phất lên trong sự nghiệp thôi. Chắc phải đợi ít nhất 5 năm nữa rồi, nếu dự án còn may mắn tồn tại được, mà không bị con ChatGPT lấn át hay bị chính quyền vào cuộc dẹp tiệm, thì ok khi đó lâu lâu tôi sẽ đóng góp ẩn danh bằng IP nhé :)))))
Hôm trước tôi nói không rõ nên hình như bạn bắt bẻ nhỉ. Dự án thối thực ra có nghĩa là những người hoạt động làm cho nó thối, chứ bản thân cái trang web nó là thứ vô tri vô giác, làm sao mà có mùi được :))))) Cho nên là đương nhiên với tôi bây giờ, dự án nó vẫn thối hoàn thối thôi, không có gì thay đổi cả. Nhìn dự án en người ta có đủ thành phần đóng góp: từ những nhân vật có học vấn cao như tiến sĩ, giáo sư đến học vấn thấp là những học sinh, rồi cuối cùng là những con rối... tỉ lệ khá cân bằng thấy mà đáng ghen tị. Còn dự án vi giờ đây thành phần sau chiếm gần như tuyệt đối rồi, thành phần trước chả còn lại bao nhiêu người vì bị dọa chạy hết. Nhìn đứa con mình bỏ công sức tạo ra trở thành đứa con hư như hôm nay, nhưng cũng bất lực lắm rồi chả còn cách nào khác nữa, phải không bác?
Một ví dụ rất nho nhỏ thôi, Nguyenmy là thành viên đóng góp quá tích cực, nay còn là đpv thì ít nhiều gì cũng đáng được tôn trọng. Nhưng mà kaka TrPhu của bạn giờ lộ rõ (không thèm tém) sự khinh khi, thái độ xem người ta như cái gai trong mắt ra rồi. Cũng phải, nếu như tôi suy đoán không lầm là do đã kiên trì lay chuyển thái độ, hi vọng người ta không chĩa mũi giáo về phía mình khi thảo luận làm mình quê, mà không thành :))))) Cũng giống tôi á mà, lay chuyển tôi hòng đưa tôi trở lại vòng thao túng như ban đầu, bất thành nên giờ thái độ quay ngoắc á mà. Giờ nghe lại mấy câu "tôi vẫn xem bạn là bạn" thấy mắc ỉa gớm luôn.
Sai lầm lớn nhất của tôi từ trước giờ, đó là bày đặt tập tành giao tiếp, giao với người khác trên wiki. Nếu tôi ngay từ đầu cứ chăm chú viết bài, đếch thèm quan tâm chuyện gì khác, thì đã chả phải vướng vào mớ rắc rối, từ Nguyenhai, NhacNy, TrPhu rồi tới cả bạn :))))) Như anh bạn Huỳnh Hoàng Nhật Duy ấy vậy mà lại hay, từ chối khước từ mọi giao tiếp, ai nhắn tin gì cũng đếch care cứ viết bài rồi cuối cùng người ta chán cũng chả thèm nhắn nữa.
Hôm nay tôi cũng ra tuyên bố luôn: Đống "trung tâm nghiên cứu" bên kia, bạn thích viết gì thì cứ viết, thích đưa tôi lên hàng rối của thập kỷ, thế kỷ gì đó thì tùy. Và điều đặc biệt là, lần này dùng luôn tên tk thật của tôi thoải mái đi nhá. Tới dịp đặc biệt gì đó thì cứ ăn mừng như đứa em JrandWP đề xuất. (Thật không thể tưởng tượng nối là có người, mà thậm chí là học sinh trường chuyên Amsterdam, có thể rảnh tới mức đi nhớ mấy sự kiện này thay vì dùng não vào việc gì đó có ích hơn. Nhưng mà cũng không ngạc nhiên lắm vì ở đâu cũng có người này người kia, trong trường chuyên cũng có this có that, gặp nhiều rồi) Viết gì thì viết, viết cho thỏa mãn cái tâm hồn khô héo của bạn, vì dù sao thì ngoài nó ra bạn cũng đâu còn niềm vui lớn lao nào khác nữa đâu :))))) Tôi từ giờ đếch quan tâm nữa vì suy cho cùng, cái gọi là "danh dự" hay "sĩ diện" trong dự án này, đem ra ngoài đời nó còn không đáng 1 xu, cũng quăng hết vào thùng rác, vì có ai biết tôi là ai đâu. Kể cũng ngộ, tôi mới vừa cho phép bạn viết gì thì viết thoải mái mà ta, bạn phải thấy mừng rỡ chứ sao lại tỏ thái độ?
