Hörsne[edit]

Happened to see this and other edits concerning the same name. May I suggest using "Hörsne" rather than "Hoersne"? There doesn't appear to be a problem with using ö in other image files, and image names are more likely to be copied and pasted rather than typed, so keyboard layout etc should not be a problem. The "Gotland-" part could also be dropped, as there doesn't appear to be any other Hörsne kyrka. --Hegvald (talk) 06:04, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would have preferred to avoid the "Umlaut" in file names, even for the sake of downloading etc., but for me it is ok to call it "Hörsne", but please not "Hörnse". I have double checked, it is really "Hörsne". Same with the Gotland-part. Since we have categories and descriptions, I do not consider it mandatory to have the Gotland-part, but I would have preferred to include it. Anyway, both ways are ok with me for both questions.--Bk1 168 (talk) 06:28, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It is not my upload and I am not defending either "Hoernse" or "Hörnse". I just happened to notice your edit because I keep an eye on the various categories concerning Swedish churches.
BTW: You are doing some good work on the Gotland churches! Commons is still lacking images on some of the more important historic churches both there and in Sweden in general, and in many cases there is only a single exterior image and no images of the interiors. --Hegvald (talk) 13:19, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes images are still missing in many cases, but I am observing that a lot is happening recently with images, for example Rone, Eke, Grötlingbo, Fide etc. And in the German Wikipedia we have articles for almost all Gotland churches. I am considering to write one for Linde, but probably it will happen before I start writing by someone else.--Bk1 168 (talk) 13:25, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Btw, I think it is a good idea to rename the files in the way the uploader meant it, just swap the "N" and "S".--Bk1 168 (talk) 14:08, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ja, das verstehe ich, ich habe dieses Detail in der Lizenz übersehen. Ich bin mit der Schnelllöschung einverstanden.--Bk1 168 (talk) 18:07, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
