This is great! I think the default should probably be to create a talk subpage for identification, though e.g. File_talk:XYZ.jpg/Identification, linked to from the main file talk page, otherwise you have to transclude the full file talk page which may contain other irrelevant discussions or templates such as {{Oldpuffull-en}}. Additionally, this would allow for something similar to the way transclusions on Commons:Deletion requests/2024/05/08, where clicking "edit" brings you to the intended page, and that means you don't need a link for "edit this file's talk page to contribute to the discussion".
