Orientación. .[edit]

— Preceding unsigned comment added by MVBSA1 (talk • contribs)

Recomiendo leer COM:DW, COM:FOP y COM:L. Saludos. --Alan (talk) 14:02, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

EliasaileLIS[edit]

Good morning. I uploaded an imagine called Segnare because I'd love to add it on the page of Italian sign language. The photo was mine, with my hands on so... I don't understand why it was deleted. --EliasaileLIS (talk) 08:34, 29 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@EliasaileLIS: link to photo? --Alan (talk) 13:59, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Imágenes eliminadas de Ahigal[edit]

Buenas tardes. Media without a valid license as of 10 December 2015 - Using VisualFileChange."

Ruego leer Commons:Requests for comment/Flickr and PD images. Saludos. --Alan (talk) 13:48, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

San [在这里找到答案] 22:57, 14 January 2016 (UTC).[reply]

@~Expresses life: Siento el retraso, estaba de vacaciones. Por cierto: Feliz 2016 :)

Saludos. --Alan (talk) 13:57, 19 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Decía "stewi10105" y no "stewi101015". Saludos. San [在这里找到答案] 19:55, 19 January 2016 (UTC).[reply]

Kamil Wilczek[edit]

Hey Alan. I can see that you were the one who deleted File:Kamil Wilczek presse.jpg, which is why I am contacting you. As I wrote on the discussionpage of the picture, the owners of the picture, Brøndby IF, did write that it could be use for free. It might misunderstand something, but why is the a violation of the copyright? Tøndemageren (talk) 17:39, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Please read COM:L and COM:NETCOPYRIGHT. Regards, Alan (talk) 16:14, 30 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I know all of that - but I would still argue, that Brøndby IF made it free to use, by writing the disclaimer in the bottom of the webpage, which is why I do not understand, why it had to be deleted? mvh Tøndemageren (talk) 12:28, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hi
Pressefoto til fri afbenyttelse kan downloades her. isn't valid, we need a free explicit and allowed license, ie: Creative Commons, clearly indicated by the author (Kasper Juul).
Regards, --Alan (talk) 13:22, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hola Alan. San [在这里找到答案] 15:55, 30 January 2016 (UTC).[reply]

Deletion[edit]

Can you explain deletion of Žuži Jelinek’s photos (File:Žuži Jelinek.jpg, File:Žuži Jelinek sa Jovankom Broz.jpg, File:Žuži Jelinek 1936 godine.jpg etc.)? They were properly (and even over-) licensed, so I guess I can upload them again. I have read all policies and files comply license I did use so why did you choose to delete? Thank you! --Obsuser (talk) 19:50, 30 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello
Copied from 1 deleted image information fields:
  • |source=Unknown, old photo, author deceased probably more than 70 years ago, small resolution (< 300 px)
  • |author=Unknown
Unknown + "probably" = Deleted per Precautionary principle.
Regards, Alan (talk) 20:18, 30 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, what about a woman being old as much that all of the photos are taken 70 years ago or more, and author deaceased for sure more than 70 years ago? You cannot find photos elsewhere, and copyright in Croatia is not present. Photos were licensed with Croatia PD license and I will upload them again. Is it OK and are they going to be deleted? Consider "unknown" + "probably" + "Croatian PD" + "< 300 px" cannot be equal to Deleted per Precautionary principle by any means. --Obsuser (talk) 23:14, 30 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Small resolution <300px isn't a valid argument to decide.
Can you confirm, with irrefutable data, somehow that pictures have that old?
The status of the all contents in Commons must be verifiable. --Alan (talk) 13:30, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
A woman was born 1920. That is not important alone as much as when you consider it along with this: {{PD-Croatia}} tells us directly b) it is an anonymous work and it was published before January 1st, 1949 and c) a photograph or a work of applied art published before January 1, 1974 so a) it is a work of known authorship and the author died before January 1st, 1949 which you are emphasizing is not important as license clearly states The work meets one of the following criteria:.
I guess we resolved it now as all of the photos meet either b) or c) or even both or even both + a) – what is way more than we need to have this license applied without breaking any rules. Hope you can consider these, and I can upload my photos again with changed description stating only what we know for 100% and that is that woman that was born 1920 cannot be photographed after 1974 i.e. 1973 and look as same as 1930s or 1940s.
Consider now "unknown" + "probably" + "Croatian PD" cannot be equal to Deleted per Precautionary principle by any means. Thank you!
PS If we had had irrefutable data, these photos would be way "fresher"; these are all from the years stated in their names and low resolution and will be used only because other media cannot represent what is shown there. It is really hard to find such photos, and can we presume by simple looking at the birth date and appearance they are copyrighted – of course no. So {{PD-Croatia}} can be applied.
PPS Note that other works enter the public domain 70 years after the author's death or 70 years after publication if the work was published anonymously. If this is the case please use {{PD-old-70}}.
We might choose between two licenses and you deleted work stating 1920 born woman might be photographed after 1990 and look as same as in 1930s (+ photos are almost or 100% black-white or can be edited in some program so resolutions gets even lowered, quality drops, resize to be smaller, and make black-white totally)... --Obsuser (talk) 23:38, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Two of the photos are from 1936 i.e. 1939 (> 70 years), and one is book covers. Can you explain also these arguments? --Obsuser (talk) 23:46, 31 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
