Template:Owen Jones - Examples of Chinese Ornament - Plate scanned from reprint
Template for images scanned from some newer reprint of Owen Jones’ book Examples of Chinese ornament, selected from objects in the South Kensington Museum and other collections, London: S. & T. Gilbert, 1867.
Explanation: For all the text pages and most of the plates in this book, we have got nice images from the Internet Archive, which were scanned from a very good copy of the book. But 12 of the 100 plates were missing from that specific copy. So we need to complete Jones’ series of plates from some other source. Therefore we have added scans from some newer reprint of the book, which are not as good as scans from some original copy, but nevertheless useful.
