English: Created in 1958 in Brussels, the Archives and Museum of Literature is a centre for documentation and research of the published heritage of French-speaking Belgium. It is dealing with theatre, novels, short-stories,...
In addition to its online databases, the old wooden card catalog in the reading room is still an important tool for the researcher. A few dozen drawers contain bibliographical informations about 30 years of acquisitions, from 1958 to 1989. They will soon disappear, and with them a very particular sound which had been familiar to so many scholars.
