English: Nova totius terrarum orbis tabula auctore F. de WitBound sheet. Hand col engr. Cartographic Note: Double hemisphere with polar circles. Additional Places: World. Contents Note: Decorated with scenes representing the four elements: air (gods and zodiac); earth (rural); fire (battle), and water (shipping). This map is reduced form Blaeu's 1648 world map, though the inland sea in North America is not included, and North-east asia is considerably smaller. Bound in 'De Zee-Atlas ofte Water-wareld', published by Doncker in 1661.
