When is the competition open ?The 2022 competition is now closed. What should we contribute ? Pictures! Audio! Videos!The theme Home and Habitat calls for the submission of visual representations of home, habitat. The theme celebrates the diversity and unique spaces and places both humans and animals alike consider home. Those quarters, lodgings, rooms, addresses, locations, dens, nests, burrows and caves. Those places of safety and peace where people and animals can relax, recover, rest, reconnect with family and community, and where they can fully express themselves, their tastes, their identity and heritage. Homes come in all shapes and sizes. They reflect our deep-seated identity, interconnections to our community and economic reality. What prizes are up for grabs?There are several prizes up for grabs for quality entries:both at a national and international level. The winners will not be selected until May-June 2022. Every year, there is a rigorous process involving three stages that makes sure that only the very best of the best are selected as the International Prize Winners. Review the Jury Process on the 2021 International Jury page. Each year it is a tough choice to choose the final winning images. The 2022 winners will not be announced until July/August 2022, but there are many beautiful winning photos that have been selected over the last 7 years! View all the winners from previous Wiki Loves Africa! While the International Jury process is active, National Winners are usually announced by the country teams. There are prizes for incredible photos being awarded via this process. Check out the 2021 National Winners here!!
