Commons:Modèles

Les Modèles sont utilisés pour ajouter dans les pages de Commons des messages récurrents qui servent de barre de navigation et qui permettent de circuler facilement entre les différentes versions linguistiques des pages. Le contenu d'un modèle (template en anglais) peut être ajouté dans une page en saisissant {{nom du modèle}}. Le préfixe « Template: » n'a pas besoin d'être inclus. Le premier caractère, mais c'est le seul, n'est pas sensible à la casse. Ainsi {{delete}} et {{Delete}} sont équivalents.

Dans l'espace de noms des galeries (également appelé espace principal, ou espace principal des articles dans Wikipédia), les modèles ne sont utilisés que pour aider les utilisateurs. Ils peuvent servir d'aide à la navigation ou afficher des messages avertissant le lecteur de la (mauvaise) qualité du contenu. Les modèles qui fournissent des informations uniquement aux contributeurs sont affichés dans les pages de discussions des galeries.

Si vous voulez commencer à développer des modèles, vous pouvez commencer par faire vos essais dans le bac à sable.
