- Support This is a second attempt at nominating this photo. The previous attempt was made in 2009, before the Space Shuttle program ended. I believe that the photo now has historic value and it seems to be an exemplar of this type of photo (two shuttles on pads) on English Wikipedia, where it is already featured. There may be artistic complaints about the composition but I think that they are outweighed by the historic value. The sharpness is not great but due to the long distances and the atmospheric effects I think that this is acceptable, given the other good qualities of the photo. -- Pine✉ 06:54, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose - As User:Sarcastic ShockwaveLover recommended in 2009, this should be nominated for VI (unless it's not the most useful image of both those shuttles on launch pads at the same time). It's a pretty image and interesting, but it looks noisy and the crops left and right are sub-optimal. (Now watch this pass with flying colors - perhaps.) -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:48, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose per others. Daniel Case (talk) 04:06, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
