  •  Description :  This video shows absorption process by Lorentz's attractor of a surrounding matter.:) There are 25 000 "mass points" (initial conditions) on the shpere of radius 200. Actually, we use such videos (see more for example) for demonstration of main properties of strange attractors for students (Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Saint Petersburg State University). Most people consider that strange attractors are purely mathematical abstraction. But in fact systems with similar behavior surround us practically everywhere.

  •  Support Excellent animation of a really difficult to understand topic. This video has a high value for teaching. Beside this my recommendation would be to shorten it to about half of the length by using only half amount of points and speeding the motion up.
