Portrait photography uploaded by User:Mdd is a category about portrait pictures found in external sources and uploaded to Commons by Marcel Douwe Dekker (User:Mdd). These images are portraits of man and women, some in their work environment, a few with their family, and another few group portraits on specific events. In these portrait pictures the one person or group is the main subject of the image.

Most of those photographs were made before 1950 and are in the public domain because its copyright has expired; photographers died over 70 years ago, or work was released over 70 years ago and the photographer is unknown (anonymous). More recent photographs are released by external sources, such as archives, photographers on Flickr, or moviemakers on YouTube, who have released their works under some kind of CC-license. Some are trimmed from existing photo's present on Commons, or in external sources.
