The partly-animatronic puppet Little Amal was the centrepiece of a 2021 performance art called The Walk, organised by the British production association Good Chance and the South African Handspring Puppet Company. The puppet attended events from the Syrian-Turkish border, via various countries of Europe, into the United Kingdom. For further information, see Little Amal, The Walk The puppet is partly animatronic because the eyes are controlled by a small computer.
