Hi Zoshi, and welcome to the Commons! Thanks for your contributions; I especially like Image:Burningman 0078.jpg. I hope you continue to take lots of pictures throughout the world on your travels, and upload them here. By the way, I'm just curious: what kind of camera are you using? Hm, I hope EugeneZelenko didn't scare you off - there was some confusion about wether yur project fits on the commons. Anyway, he's doing a good (and nasty) job here, so don't be mad at him:) Anyway... could you please add licensing info to Image:Trans-Siberian-map.jpg? We have to be picky about the copyright stuff, since free images is what this site is all about. Please have a look at Commons:Licensing and Commons:Copyright tags. And thanks for the great pictures! I like the Burning Man stuff, I hope I can go there some time (if I ever again happen to be in the US). Oh, could you put the appropriate copyright tag on them? Hey Dbenbenn! Thank you for your welcoming words. I am happy you liked some of the BurningMan pictures. I am going to India tomorrow so maybe soon I will upload some nice new pictures! You asked what camera I was using - I use the old good Canon Powershot G3. I will have a look at your galeries now :) Take care! Zoshi
- The PowerShot G3 looks like a pretty good camera from a couple years ago. I noticed that all your pictures are low resolution. Maybe that's because you have the camera set to conserve memory, or maybe you're scaling the pictures down before uploading them here. Indeed all my pictures are in low resolution. I scaled them before uploading in order not to stuff the wiki with too big pictures. I didn't know that pictures in higher resolution are in greater demand here. I will bear that in mind for the future and maybe reupload the Burning Man pictures in the original size as soon as I will be back home from my travels. Look!
