There seems to be a mis-match between the right hand side & the left hand side. Where the Australian meets teh Eurasian plate doesn't match up, especially the area around the Andaman Islands. Can you revise this at your leisure? DJGB.

Thank you for uploading files on Commons.

Please add images to most relevant categories, for example Category:Microprocessors, Category:Computer memory, not in generic ones like Category:Computer, Category:Computer hardware. Generic categories could be easily become overcrowded and useless for search.

Could it be that the colors of that image are not RGB but CYMK or something else? It looks quite strange to me. Regards --ALE! 11:57, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Molduras...!![edit]

--ReynaldoBrasil 21:08, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

(havia colocado esta resposta na minha discussão...He... He...). - Bom dia! OK? Por favor! Um abraço. --ReynaldoBrasil 14:32, 16 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

--ReynaldoBrasil 02:27, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Abraço.--ReynaldoBrasil 01:40, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Abraço.--ReynaldoBrasil 03:06, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Caesalpinia ferrea-trunk.jpg[edit]

Hi, I believe you marked Image:Caesalpinia ferrea-trunk.jpg for deletion as it has a wrong name. Can you upload it again with the correct name? Or can the picture not be used at all (as it is copyrighted or something?) Can you let me know? Kind regards, Deadstar 08:44, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for your message. The correct spelling is "trunk", not "thrunk" - I would therefore like to keep Image:Caesalpinia ferrea-trunk.jpg, and delete Image:Caesalpinia ferrea-thrunk.JPG. I will finish the deletion request, please add your comment to it if you want. Kind regards, Deadstar 07:28, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

--Booyakasha 23:42, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It appears possible that the descriptions for this image and Image:LS-tectonite 2.jpg have become switched. Image 1 appears to be view looking in the plane of the S fabric while Image 2 appears to be looking perpendicular down onto the S fabric. I was about to use these images to illustrate an article on tectonites , but wanted to confirm the orientation of the photographs before I used them. Beautiful photographs by the way, takes me back to my PhD. Mikenorton 20:41, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mikenorton, I've made a mistake. The images are switched, because the cut plane isn't the same of the view plane. The image 1 is view looking in the plane of the S fabric and the image 2 is perpendicular. Zimbres 20:33, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your Piptadenia Photos[edit]

Thank you very much for your nice photos. They have been added to the English[2] and Spanish Wikipedia. Piptadenia, Anadenanthera and other Brazilian plant photos are very hard to find, so if you can take any more, that would be awesome!

Hello, Zimbres!
Tip: Add categories to your files
Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

File:Tectonic_plate_boundaries2.svg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Amazonite Picture Clarifiation[edit]

Hi Zimbres! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amazonite#/media/File:Amazonita1.jpeg Wondering about a picture listed on the "Amazonite" page which you contributed back in 2005. It has the description "Origin:Brazil" but no other geographic information. Can you confirm any details or offer any specifics?

It also has the caption "Photo of a turquoise mineral with beige microcline speckled within it," which raises the question of what that turquoise mineral is. Any ideas? It also says elsewhere that is a picture of green feldspar, but there is some confusion on that point. If this is Brazilian K-feldspar of that blue-green type, if you know of any academic research in that area relating to Pb and Rb content then any references would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all your contributing! 174.65.49.241 03:39, 6 August 2019 (UTC) -174[reply]

Hallo Zimbres,

is it really true rain in background, what we see?

You passed along a street and stopped to get this special view?

In the file talk a user sees in it a "fake picture" in 2008. Possibly you could answer there.

I found your picture in https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Niemeyer as a thumbnail and wondered about rain or not

Some fluctuation on the right side auf the stream did let me – nearly – trust. ; )
