Merci[edit]

Merci pour les recatégorisations! J'en ai ai encore quelques unes à importer. Triton (talk) 21:31, 9 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder: Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2016 is open![edit]

You are receiving this message because you voted in R1 of the 2016 Picture of the Year contest.

Dear Triton,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2016 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eleventh edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2016) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top #1 and #2 from each sub-category.

In the final round, you may vote for just one or maximal three image to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 2 will end on 20 April 2017, 23:59:59 UTC.

Renommages de categories sur les PNM[edit]

Bonjour,
Pmau (talk) 11:47, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Triton (talk) 11:52, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Cordialement, Pmau (talk) 11:53, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Merci :) Triton (talk) 11:55, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Triton (talk) 12:26, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Gabrielli- von Karman diagram[edit]

Hello Triton,

Is this really your work?

I don't see it in your gallery.

Hi Theosch. Yes, I did it following a request on the French graphic workshop. I didn't put requests in my gallery. Why? Triton (talk) 18:20, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Triton! I want to translate the diagram into English and use it in a book, so I wanted to make sure of the author, and it wasn't characteristic of your work. I can use your real name, if your like. Theosch (talk) 20:23, 16 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Echinostrephus[edit]

Logo 2 millions d'articles[edit]

Salut, Triton.

A priori corrigé Warp3. Triton (talk) 03:15, 7 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Amicalement, Bernard de Go Mars (talk) 15:33, 30 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Bonjour @Bernard de Go Mars: .

I like your work on the image [1]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_sea_mining#/media/File:Deep_sea_mining_schematic_1.svg and was wondering how to include this image (example via MIT) https://www.researchgate.net/publication/353483138_Extent_of_impact_of_deep-sea_nodule_mining_midwater_plumes_is_influenced_by_sediment_loading_turbulence_and_thresholds @[2]https://www.researchgate.net/publication/353483138_Extent_of_impact_of_deep-sea_nodule_mining_midwater_plumes_is_influenced_by_sediment_loading_turbulence_and_thresholds Jenmedia (talk) 16:01, 13 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Jenmedia: . I'm not sure I understand your question. If you want to reuse the picture here you can do so freely. You just need to mention the author (me). If you want to use the pictures visible on the publications you need to ask the permission of these authors. I can maybe make similar pictures, if you indicate the precise image that interest you. Midjourney[edit]

Hi! I just wanna tell you that the correct license to use for images generated by Midjourney and similar websites is PD-algorithm. Due to the way Commons policy currently works AI generated works cannot be copyrighted Trade (talk) 21:43, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Trade: , yeah I noticed, I still need to change the few images I put online. Thanks for the reminder. This put this category in question by the way. Triton (talk) 21:45, 8 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Wikibooks-logo-fr-noslogan-light.svg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

Pourrais-tu me dire comment tu as fait ?

When uploading these type of images please include a category to indicate whether or not the prompt was included Trade (talk) 13:02, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Trade. I try to add a prompt to every of my new uploads and will try to find the old ones too. Triton (talk) 14:06, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I was talking about the category, not the prompts itself Trade (talk) 22:37, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! do you think we could add a Prompt template/module to Information so that it's automatically categorise if there is or isn't a prompt informed? Would be easier. Triton (talk) 09:18, 30 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Incidentally[edit]

What was your rationale here? It seems fairly applicable... DS (talk) 00:23, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, it's an ooold modification. Not 100% sure but I think I was trying to make some cleaning in the category. The name "monsters" is not really applicable since everybody can have a different interpretation of this title. If my memory serves I only kept files specifically mentionning "monster" in the title. I see it's already a mess again. Concerning this specific picture, it's indeed mentionned in the description. No problem to revert my modification. Triton (talk) 13:24, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
