SVG flags of Philippine Armed Forces

[edit]

Good job on the Philippine Armed Forces flags. Could you upload the SVG version too? – Illegitimate Barrister (talk) 07:51, 1 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Philippine military seals, etc

[edit]

I have to say, you're work for the military seals and the like is quite good. How I wish the same can be said for the government... The NHCP claims to be the agency responsible for heraldry but it is evident by the seals they come up with that they have no one knowledgable on heraldry on board :(...It's sad, especially when you look at what Canada churns out here: reg.gg.ca --WikiEditor50 (talk) 14:51, 5 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Logo of Catbalogan City, Gandara Municipality and Tacloban City

[edit]

Good day! I recently saw your uploads in commons and I really admire it. I hope you can provide also the seals of city of Catbalogan, municipality of Gandara and city of Tacloban. Regards! Jsnueva1022 (talk) 04:45, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I only recreate heraldic seals from DILG's 1975 Symbols of the State and other requests from people provided that designs are heraldic too.

I've seen the seal of Catbalogan and unfortunately it isn't heraldic to begin with.

With regards to Tacloban seal, it is still under the list. I'm currently working in LGU and so much work to do. I hope you understand. Trajano Cabrales (talk) 08:37, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

Philippine local government seals are NOT PROTECTED UNDER ANY COPYRIGHT LAWS in the Philippines. Existing seals used by the LGUs of the Philippines don't have uniform appearances and so the purpose of the deleted file is to have the seal of Balingasag a clearer depiction of their economic strengths and aspirations. Seals are only protected under Republic Act 8491 and are not for "Non-Free" use. Trajano Cabrales (talk) 08:30, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I spent days recreating the seal, only to be deleted under allegations of copyright violations. And woe that I lost the original file of the deleted. Lucky for you. Trajano Cabrales (talk) 08:33, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The deletion of the file damaged my morale and will to recreate local government seals which are NOT COPYRIGHTED materials. Trajano Cabrales (talk) 08:39, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Inquiry about Philippine military insignias

[edit]

Hi! I saw your uploaded shoulder epaulette insignias. Are there available insignias also of Police Brigadier General and any other brigadier generals ranks of BuCor, BFP, BJMP, NBI, PDEA, NAMRIA, Philippine Marine Corps and BOC? Because I created a wikipedia article entitled “Brigadier General in the Philippines” and it lacks of the said needed insignias. I hope you will upload it in wikimedia commons. Thanks and regards!😊 Jsnueva1022 (talk) 02:33, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi!

I haven't seen rank epaulets of BJMP, PNP, and other relevant agencies, that's why I haven't digitized them and instead concentrate on AFP ranks since they're more ubiquitous. Trajano Cabrales (talk) 00:42, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Inquiry on Philippine Seals.

[edit]

Magandang hapon, just stopping by tto say great work on the seals, it's great so see symbols of the Philippines finally digitalized. I noticed your recent posts on one of the Great Seals of the Philippine Commonwealth, I was wondering if you have plans on creating an SVG version of the Great Seal used from 1903 with the Filipino Woman and the Mayon Volcano, I noticed that this was also depicted on coins from that area and would be great to see a monochrome version of it in SVG as well.

If I may also ask, I noticed that your post is sporting a brighter hue of blue when contrasted to the darker hues, do you by chance know how we can convert Cable No.'s (Color system used by the Philippines) more accurately? It appears that there is no uniform way to convert this to RGB. Looking to hear from you soon and once again great work.

Mabuhay!
