Julo 06:35, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

threat ban

Instead of threatening me with a ban straight away, you could've just only pointed out to me what I did wrong.... I'm sorry for breaching the copyright rules, I wronly assumed that because they were present on the English wiki page of Worldbowl, it would be ok to use them on the Dutch version as well, without checking that Dutch copyright would be the same as the American ones regarding fair-use policy. Still I would like to add the helmets (as used on the English wiki page) on the Dutch Worldbowl page, so if you've got any suggestions for me, please say so.

Cheers, Toer86

I didn't thought of that, then it's ok I guess.
Thanks for the tipp, I'll change it.

Fragment z licencji gry:

"3. You are NOT allowed to take our art (2d/3d files), and use it for your own devious purpose,
either commercial or not. The only exception is if you want to make some sort of fan website,
in which case it is OK to use some of our art on that site. Of course, taking a screenshot and
using it for whatever you need is perfectly OK."
Just don't use our art for your own game/software. If you really want to do that, then send me
an e-mail, with information on where/how/what/why you want to use, and, most likely, we can come
to a deal.

Pozdrawiam Sfu 20:28, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ja to rozumiem trochę inaczej. "Of course, taking a screenshot and using it for whatever you need is perfectly OK." Dla mnie sprawa jest oczywista. Sfu 21:05, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Co do konkretnej licencji to kwestia interpretacji "using it for whatever you need is perfectly OK" ... Czy to nawet pod PD nie podpada? Sfu 21:47, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wonder what the problem may be: Did not you see the message on top of my user page? You saw it but did not understand it? Did you think the topic was not urgent enough? Or did you just plainly ignored it? --Piolinfax 17:49, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Czeszcz Szczepan1990. Sorry if I seemed too harsh in my previous message. It is the second time somebody leaves recently a message in my talk page in Commons for a topic in which time may be an important factor and totally overlooks the huge, blinking link on top of that page. I saw your message by mere serendipity and in a moment when I was short of time, with no good on-line connection (as usual, lately) and in a moment when I was having a growing feeling of the incompetence of some administrators here about some basic facts. That is why I snapped the way I did. Regarding to the deletion request honestly I hope you have not started many deletion requests on the same grounds as this that ended up in a deletion of a file while you yourself are keeping an image as "not-in-project-scope" as this image ;) --Piolinfax (Tell me) 01:29, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Why? --Piolinfax (Tell me) 00:58, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why deleted National anthem?

Would you please explain why on 18 May 2007 you deleted National anthem? Your reason was not obvious.--Jusjih 15:45, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for undeleting. I see more in categories that can be integrated into the article as well.--Jusjih 16:43, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of chess portrait photos

Hi there. Thanks for the note about the deletion of the photos. I share your concern about being unable to say, with any accuracy, when anonymous artists/photographers died. It is obvious therefore, that photos can only be posted on the basis of some 'reasonable' assumptions - it is not an exact science. Before putting them up, I scanned vast parts of Wikipedia to see what common practice dictates - in other words, the latest dated photos that can reasonably have the 'pd-old' template attached, according to many other users/editors when date of the author's death is unknown. I have to tell you that there are thousands of such photos on Wikipedia, that were taken in the 1900s, the 1910s, the 1920s and even the early 1930s - all based on nothing more than a 'reasonable' assumption. I was therefore somewhat puzzled that you singled out all of mine for deletion, while so many others remain untouched. In the chess section alone, I found tens of photos with dates in the 1920s. Could you please review your decision in the light of my comments? At the very least, I would need to know what cut-off date you and other admins are working to, so that I don't waste my time in the future. I trust you will appreciate that I have not posted any photos without giving the matter careful thought and have deliberately held back other photos that I felt were too close to call. 82.39.117.137 11:48, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please undelete Body morphology project

Please reinstate Body morphology project.

There could be an additional contributor if the page were undeleted (User:Boochan), and it's part of the related category and other materials.

I'm attempting to drum up more participation and support. The going is very slow but it is still an active project for me.

If you find you cannot reinstate the page, please let me know why and where I can go to escalate the request.

Thanks very much. --Malcolm Gin 19:57, 11 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry for my english, but this image was created for me. I consider that should have been erased(smeared) in two occasions as a jeer towards my. I wait do not repeat itself(himself, herself), since if it(he,she) is not known on the authorship, they should not get into anything that they do not know. --Luis vallejos 19:00, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow, you are a really a tough guy. Probably only your teddybear at the shelf is a little bit tougher. However i updatet Image:Ssangyong Kyron black h.jpg and Image:Ssangyong Kyron black vl.jpg. I think you like it. And again, do not care of any rules. -- Stahlkocher 17:31, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have forgotten to delete Image:Dürkopp Diana 1955.jpg. Since the common opinion is, that this images contains coprighted material i would like to ask you to delete it, please. -- Stahlkocher 18:15, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Same here Image:Trelock Gebäude Münster autostitch.jpg. This image is showing the deleted logo two times and, at its worst, it is showing a nonfree, copyrighted builing. All this qualifies it as FairUse image. Even under terms of publishing it under "freedom of panorama" it is still a non-derivates. The same here Image:Burj.jpg and probably 400000 more images. I guess this will become a long night to you :-) I wish you the very best! -- Stahlkocher 18:51, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do we have to delete this photo? The LH logo is clearly visible on it. --JuergenL 08:55, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why don't you answer my question? --JuergenL 20:15, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A.J. 12:46, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
