Thanks, Jee. That was very kind of you. Sorry for my late reply. --Slaunger (talk) 13:20, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi Slaunger, this file is nominated in the VIC for two different scopes, first nomination is : Commons:Valued image candidates/Lafarge, ZI Horizon Sud, Frontignan, Hérault 01.jpg and the other : Commons:Valued image candidates/Lafarge, ZI Horizon Sud, Frontignan, Hérault 01.jpg/2, the problem is on the Commons:Valued image candidates/candidate list : when someone tried to open the second nomination with a click on "Rewiew Page", it's the first witch is open. Friendly. --Christian Ferrer (talk) 12:01, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Hi Christian. Sorry, I overlooked this question on my talk page. I hope everything has been sorted out. One normally fixes this with a "trick". Append some extra to the file name, when creating the nomination page for the second scope. Fill in the information and save. Then, edit the page and manually correct the link to the file page. --Slaunger (talk) 13:20, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

"Happy Diwali!"

While Diwali is popularly known as the "festival of lights", the most significant spiritual meaning behind it is "the awareness of the inner light". It is the belief that there is something beyond the physical body and mind which is pure, infinite, and eternal, called the Atman. The celebration of Diwali as the "victory of good over evil” refers to the light of higher knowledge dispelling all ignorance, the ignorance that masks one's true nature, not as the body, but as the unchanging, infinite, immanent and transcendent reality. With this awakening come compassion and the awareness of the oneness of all things (higher knowledge). This brings Satcitananda (joy or peace). Just as we celebrate the birth of our physical being, Diwali is the celebration of this Inner Light. While the story behind Diwali and the manner of celebration varies from region to, the essence is the same – to rejoice in the Inner Light! And this year Diwali and All Souls' Day come together to fully defeat the Evil! "Happy Diwali!"JKadavoor Jee 06:16, 2 November 2013 (UTC)
Well, thanks, Jee! It so happens that the Diwali this year coincided with my birthday, but I didn't know that beforehand - and sorry for my very late reply. --Slaunger (talk) 13:20, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Happy Diwali

I also wish you a very very happy and prosperous diwali. --Joydeep Talk 06:25, 2 November 2013 (UTC)

Thank you, JDP90! That was very kind of you. Sorry for my very delayed response. --Slaunger (talk) 13:20, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Hi. You may have seen that Colin has started a rather nice Photo challenge project at Commons:Photo challenge. Fancy getting involved in setting it up, or entering? --MichaelMaggs (talk) 19:25, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

Yes, I have seen it on various pages I watch. I am afraid I will not enter it for the time being. I am currently engulfed in a nerdy obsession (see my wikibreak message) in my limited spare time, which I just happen to find is more fun currently. I am still suffering from wikifatigue after the decrat discussion this Summer. Best wishes, --Slaunger (talk) 13:20, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
