Re: Question[edit]

No, as long as they are of high technical quality. Also, QI must be created by Wikipedians (they can not be created by NASA or NOAA or something like that). Feel free to get involved with QIC if you like, and don't hesitate to ask me any more questions you have. --The High Fin Sperm Whale 23:13, 23 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I've done that before too. But there is nothing wrong with nominating a self-uploaded VIC, either. I've nominated two of my own, both of which got promoted. --The High Fin Sperm Whale 01:12, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

FP Promotion[edit]

This image has been promoted to Featured picture!

The image File:Carl Larsson-Lathörnet.jpg, that you nominated on Commons:Featured picture candidates/File:Carl Larsson-Lathörnet.jpg has been promoted. Thank you for your contribution. If you would like to nominate another image, please do so.

Pardosa glacialis photo is wrong[edit]

Dear Schuylar,

The photo you uploaded for the wiki page on Pardosa glacialis:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Arctic_wolf_spider.jpg

Is a photo I took and it is not a photo of that species. It should be removed from that page (I would have done this myself if I knew how)> Thanks, Derek

File:Bill Bailey, Won't You Please Come Home?.ogg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
