BESM4th[edit]

BESM4th
This isn't an award but rather a question. I saved the picture from Facebook a while ago. Mark Mckinnon was trying to change the picture of the Cover art to the current cover pic (the one I posted) I was just trying to help keep the page as current as possible and was not trying to do anything malicious. I don't understand what the problem with updating the page is. If you can tell me, that would be appreciated. Nikkutendo (talk) 03:50, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nikkutendo, the cover art was deleted because it is a copyright violation. Wikimedia commons doesn't accept works that are used under fair use rationale. You can upload the cover art to Wikipedia directly (without uploading it to commons), but make sure you read w:Non-free content very carefully. Sam-2727 (talk) 15:52, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mistake[edit]

Hi Sam I’m trying to upload a image to this file on lauren London can you assist me Ahshion1 (talk) 23:31, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ahshion1, try looking for a file that is licensed under a suitable free license and isn't copyrighted. Sam-2727 (talk) 23:35, 12 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Where do i find those at and how do i publish it? Ahshion1 (talk) 00:52, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ahshion1, you search for free use files just as you would any file, finding images online. Just check the license of the image (typically listed next to the image somewhere) before uploading it to commons. Sam-2727 (talk) 00:54, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ok then how do i make it publish to her actual Wikipedia page Ahshion1 (talk) 01:04, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ahshion1, click "edit," then under "insert," click "images and media." Then search/click for the image you want to add to the article. Sam-2727 (talk) 01:20, 13 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
