Pas du tout, le passage de la tempête est bien placé, c'est juste que la depression est passée à hauteur de la Rochelle. Nous avons 2 trajectoires parallèles (grosso modo). c'est pour montrer que la tempête n'est pas centrée sur la depression. Suis-je clair ? Hi Sémhur! I need to learn where/what is Mokk which is showed on the map Bagratuni Kingdom. I translated the map into Turkish, however I paused. I know every other names' Turkish versions however I couldn't find what Mokk. So I need your helpful information (a website or something which gives me any idea regarding Mokk).   • Hi Tuleytula. Mokk was a mountainous country in the south of lake Van. It have a lot of name ; you can find some of them in the WP-en article : en:Moxoene. Today, it's the turkish district of Bahçesaray.

I uploaded the picture in PNG format here:[2]. Why? Because, I tried to edit the original SVG file on Inkscape, however when I saved and closed the file, I was never able to opened the edited file.   • I don't know this error. You can try to start from the french version (the original file, commons:File:Bagratuni_Armenia_1000-fr.svg), or try on an other computer. If you still see this error, please write me the error message on my talk page.

Hawaii FP[edit]

I've been thinking about this, and I dont' think I really said enough at the time.

I'm really sorry that your FP was missed out at first, and glad we could fix it before the competition started. I'm not sure how it got left out, but please believe me that it was almost certainly accidental: We had to sort 500 featured pictures into categories, and then there was a period where we were refining the groups by moving things around between them. What probably happened was that it was being moved from one to the other, and the removal from the one went through, but an unnoticed edit conflict or loss of concentration meant that it wasn't properly put into the new category.

SVG problem[edit]

Hi! I have a problem with File:Hawaii Island topographic map-fr.svg. In full view mode it crashes my browser, the current Mozilla Firefox (version 3.0.6, active since 2 weeks) running on Vista. I've asked a friend and he had the same problem (same browser in same version but XP Pro as OS). Sorry, the problem still exists for me on Vista. The large view opens and I can see the water and the land in all its shades and the one blue line surrounding the land. But then the browser just loads loads loads. The streetlines and the labels are not displayed anymore and the browser does not react to anything anymore. I could not reach my friend who uses the XP-OS to check with him. But after work I will try it with the Vista at home. The firefox there and here at work are a little bit different. Maybe it is some Firefox plugin that causes the problem. I just don't understand why the other SVG-maps are working for me. -- Cecil (talk) 23:46, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cartographie Bretagne - région de Vannes[edit]

Bonjour Sémhur, j'ai remarqué que tu fessais un superbe travail concernant les cartes géographiques et je ne sais pas si c'est ton habitude mais afin d'illustrer plusieurs articles sur la Bretagne j'aurais besoin de cartes telles que celles que tu fais pour les bassins hydrographiques :

  • une carte de bretagne historique ( 5 départements bretons + une partie des départements proches)
    • Sans nom de villes mais avec les noms des rivières
  • Une carte de la région de Vannes (circonférence égale à la distance Vannes - presqu'île de Quiberon en intégrant le golfe du morbihan
    • la même chose que la carte que tu as déjà faite : File:Kosovo map-en.svg

Le tout serait pour illustrer les articles concernant la Bretagne, les peuples celtes d'Armorique (rivières = frontières des territoires) etc....

Désolé de ne pas t'avoir averti, je ne le referai pas... Si tu penses que ce n'est pas approprié, je peux bien sûr annuler ça. Il me semble que Alvegaspar mentionne les 2-3 petits trucs qui débordent du cadre de la carte, quand on la regarde sous Inkscape (des routes surtout). Je trouve ça insignifiant personnellement, mais ce n'est pas son avis. Je ne sais pas si ça vaut la peine de corriger ça pour autant ?

En fait j'ai voulu promouvoir le travail récent de l'Atelier graphique, donc je regardais les réalisations pas trop anciennes, et celle-là me plaisait bien, mais je n'ai pas non plus relevé son "principal défaut". Ah, les images raster dans le SVG, j'avais vu, mais ça ne me dérange pas. Le but principal du SVG c'est de pouvoir rapidement corriger et traduire la carte, et là, à part pour le relief (mais si on veut modifier le relief mieux vaut remonter à la source de toutes manières !), c'est le cas. Si on zoome c'est moche, c'est vrai, mais si on zoome sur une carte "intégralement" SVG, on perd en précision sans s'en rendre compte puisque la carte a été conçue avec des données qui ne sont pas infiniment précises (et le relief ombré, lui toujours en raster, pixellise aussi). Bref, je comprends que cette carte soir du "sous-Sémhur", mais ça reste tout-à-fait featurable, à mon avis :-) le Korrigan →bla 19:33, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

En fait, une carte JPEG / PNG est directement lisible par Windows, je peux donc la partager avec plein de gens sans qu'ils aient besoin de Firefox ou Inkscape pour les visualiser, sans parler de Firefox qui va assez lentement, sans parler de pouvoir zoomer ou se déplacer facilement... le SVG n'est vraiment pas pratique pour la réutilisation par des gens lambda ! Et on aime bien les cartes au boulot (la Tanzanie va servir)... merci !
Et merci pour les cartes UN, Sting me les avait recommandées, mais j'ai réalisé il y a seulement 2 jours qu'un PDF pouvait être converti en chemins par Inkscape... trop tard pour Haïti, j'avais utilisé la VMAP0 que j'avais corrigé en utilisant la carte UN comme calque de fond.   • en 1154, le comté de Reims est un fief d’Église, normalement inaliénable, depuis plus d’un siècle ([3]) ;
  • pour la couleur des possessions toulousaines, je ne suis pas expert, mais mon premier mouvement a été oui ; et en fait, tout ce qui fait partie du royaume est bien différencié du reste du continent, donc ce n’est peut-être pas indispensable ;

Infoboxes Pictograms[edit]

Hi, I just saw you can do great pictograms and would like to know if you are able to do some. I want to use them in some infoboxes. I'm needing one for book, a microphone with a music note for singers, a cd with a music note for albuns, factory, ficional character (this one would be great), sports and martial arts and a mix of book, cinema, music and video game for media franchise infobox. You really have good maps, can you please help improve the location map for the Philippines? The present location map (below) is not that good. Carte Projet Nord-Pas-de-Calais[edit]

Bonjour Sémhur, Voilà, le projet Nord-Pas-de-Calais désirerait réaliser une carte de synthèse (aspects physiques et humains) de la région pour illustrer le portail et plusieurs articles. Certains d'entre-nous avons bien des idées (y insérer des liens par exemple) mais pas vraiment la compétence pour la réaliser. Peut-être es-tu déjà débordé ou tout simplement l'idée ne te séduit pas. Il faut distinguer les int:, codés en dur dans le logiciel (dont il n'en existe que 2 à ma connaissance, int:filedesc — ou int:summary — et int:license) et d'autres formes de traductions, passant souvent par des modèles utilisant {{Autotranslate}} et/ou {{LangSwitch}}. Ces derniers semblent assez à la mode, et l'on a vu récemment apparaître toute sortes d'applications curieuses, notamment les multilingual tags. Ce n'est pas la panacée en terme de complexité technique, mais vu les lacunes du logiciel Mediawiki en matière d'internationalisation, c'est qui se fait de mieux en ce moment. La FAQ avait besoin en effet d'une petite mise à jour à ce propos, ta demande tombait donc à pic. Le Crtl+K permet de gagner jusqu'à plusieurs centaines de kilo-octets, pour certaines cartes. Passer l'aspirateur est aussi une bonne idée. A noter que la version 0.47 d'Inkscape, qui va sortir prochainement, a semble-t-il fait des efforts sur la propreté du code (qui laissait un peu à désirer), ce qui devrait nous donner des fichiers plus léger. Salut Sémhur. Tu as bien fait pour le revert; c'est la 1ère fois que je modifie un modèle (je n'ai l'habitude que des catégories). Le but était de montrer la traduction en français lorsqu'on va consulter ce modèle (parce que "Location" est tout autre chose en français ;-). While translating your map of Liechtenstein some Swiss users identified some mistakes: it's Schaanwald, not Schaanwal; Saxerriet isn't a village, it's just a prison; Wartau is the name of a municipality, the name of the village you named Wartau is Trübbach; there is a tunnel between Triesenberg and Malbun; Castle of Vaduz lies more to the North; boundaries and railway looks different in map and legend. Carte SVG vierge de l'empire carolingien[edit]

Vous voulez dire, une carte d'Europe vierge, sans les différentes régions carolingienne apparaissant ici ? Dans ce cas, deux solutions, soit vous ouvrez la carte avec Inkscape, et vous supprimez les calques qui ne vous intéressent pas, soit vous choisissez une autre carte d'Europe dans la catégorie Category:Blank SVG maps of Europe.
Si vous voulez parler de la carte originale, c'est celle-ci : File:Growth of Frankish Power, 481-814.jpg.

Oui, il s'agit bien d'une carte d'Europe vierge sans les différentes régions carolingiennes. En supprimant les calques, certains tracés disparaissent et la couleur de fond, lorsque l'on supprime le fond vert, ne correspond pas avec le fond gris du reste de la carte. Aussi j'aurai voulu récupérer l'originale de votre carte car les cartes vierges présente dans la catégorie Category:Blank SVG maps of Europe sont toutes trop grandes. Problème à l’affichage[edit]

J’ai remarqué un problème avec ta photo de l’office du tourisme de Rennes (File:Rennes - Office du Tourisme Saint-Yves - 20080706.jpg), prise lors d’une de nos expéditions cabalistiques. Peut-être est-ce dû à sa taille, mais chez moi, elle ne réussit pas à s’afficher dans l’article. Serait-il possible que tu regardes ça ?
