Hi Pruneau,

perhaps you could overthink your vote in this debate, the sculpture is old enough for public domain. If you look at the clothing and the stone, it must be from the 19th century.

Hi there, could you take another look at this discussion? TimVickers (talk) 16:47, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Flickrreview[edit]

Well I'm refining the parameters for tagging, so images like your example shouldn't get tagged. Furthermore, the fact that the bot has edited the page will prevent it doing so again in the future. I'm aware this run is throwing up a fair bit of inappropriate tagging, when I complete the first section of the run later today I'll go back and check over the edits. The remainder of the run will be done semi-automatically, so spurious tagging won't arise.--Nilfanion (talk) 15:25, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Thanks a lot for your patch. I dont know why the robot dont upload the image itself. I remember seeing Flickr image uploaded like that. Maybe im in wrong. ~ bayo or talk 20:39, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

De rien ! Si tu es passé par Flinfo, il est normal que l'upload n'est pas marché : le script donne les informations sur l'image, mais il faut télécharger et uploader l'image "à la main". Si tu es passé par un autre robot, c'est effectivement bizarre. Pruneautalk 21:56, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

We have now updated our ESO copyright notice (http://www.eso.org/public/outreach/press-rel/copyright.html) and have also made reference to it on the category page: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:European_Southern_Observatory_Images.

I like your suggestion about getting the wider community involved in uploading images, but for now we want to create some sub-categories for images (as there are potentially quite a few).

Valued Image Promotion[edit]

Your nomination has been reviewed and promoted
Congratulations! The image you nominated was reviewed and has now been promoted as a valued image. It is considered to be the most valued image on Commons within the scope:
Christ Church, Oxford.
If you would like to nominate another image, please do so at Valued images candidates.

I've done some changes to the template proposal, including new icons for alot of things too. Check it out ViperSnake151 (talk) 01:27, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pruneautalk 14:43, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Many Thanks[edit]

Dear Pruneau,
Thanks for your support of my Request for Adminship. I’m honored by your trust.

Lismonde etc...[edit]

Bonsoir,

Bruxellensis

POTY Galleries[edit]

Hello, Pruneau. I found you have arranged the January-August 2008 FPs into categories for POTY2008. User:Pruneau/POTY 2008 categories is a great work! Would you arrange the September-November 2008 FPs, too? (The December FPs are to be arranged in January 2009.) Or is there anything I can help you? :-) Best regards. --miya (talk) 10:27, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Miya. I'm quite busy right now in real life. If no one else does it, I'll probably have time to arrange the POTY galleries in early January ( so I would do September-December in one big lump). But if you feel like taking care of it, by all means go ahead! It would be very helpful, and could help put momentum in the project, which needs some desperately. I'm sorry I can't be of more help at present - I just have too many deadlines piling up. Cheers, Pruneautalk 18:07, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Pruneau. Thank you for encouraging me. I began to sort FPs of September, October and November, hoping it would be some help (though some of the images are very difficult for me to categorize). Cheers.--miya (talk) 15:41, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Miya. Thanks for taking care of the galleries! I now have a bit more time to help with POTY; is there anything specific I can help with? Pruneautalk 12:48, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, Pruneau. To tell the truth the person who took care of Galleries is Adam Cuerden (Thanks Adam!). Please sign in Commons:Picture of the Year/2008/Committee and join the mailing list. Thank you.--miya (talk) 23:04, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

RfC[edit]

The decision for a consensus in which you took part last August is being disputed on the Annie Chapman talk page and within the archive space of the original decision here. The user cites recent changes to UK copyright law, recent changes in WP policies, and recent changes to the licensing template, (none of which are my forte) as being reasons why the decision was wrong.. I would like to defer to those with more knowledge on the subjects the user brings up so I have left this note on the talk page of those involved and you are invited to participate. Thank you,
Berean Hunter (talk) 22:39, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

Hello, Pruneau. Thank you for supporting me in the request for adminship. Although it hasn't done successfully, I proud that twenty-nine trusted contributors -including you- voted for me. Thank you again for your trust.--OsamaK 14:14, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
