(Poor english) Problem with the license of Image:WritingSystemsOfTheWorld.png. The original license it was GFDL. Now the license it's Cc-by-sa. The image must be GFDL. Please see this--Lmbuga gl, pt, es: contacta comigo 14:29, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Are the improvements sufficient? This nomination is about to be decided but is falling short of votes, if you change your oppose to a neutral or support I think it will have enough votes. --Tony Wills 10:26, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What do you think ...[edit]

Size[edit]

Hi,

I think I fixed the size problem here.

Thanks. DocteurCosmos 10:13, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I removed your FPX template from this one, so you might want to comment/vote again. --MichaelMaggs 17:35, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the hint. --norro 18:58, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

FPC flooding[edit]

Hi. I don't think it is a good idea to flood FPC with similar images. The only thing that will probably happen is that people get bored and don't vote, or alternatively votes might be spread over all the images and none of them may reach FP-status. Could I kindly ask you to remove those noms and nominate them one by one (say one a week)?. Thanks Lycaon 07:49, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have spent days asking around over this. No one raised objections and now I deal with this. It is kinda frustrating. I will remove all deep space ones for now except the main poster per below. However I will not spend the next 61 weeks nominating these one by one. That is not very reasonable. Don't you think?
I would however do not object if you took over the nomination thing. I simply do not want to spend so much time on the page. :)

Hi White Cat. Please just nominate two or three of your favourites at a time. FPC is not really usable with umpteen similar pictures nominated. I removed them for now. --norro 08:14, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You do NOT remove someone elses nomination like that. I am very irked. Do not do it again. -- Cat ちぃ? 08:23, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

You have recentely nominated in COM:FPC 60 images of coliding galaxies. I suggest you to keep only the poster (which has them all), as there is no way each of the pictures can have a fair and accurate evaluation from the usual reviewers and they disturbing the normal working of the page. See above. -- Cat ちぃ? 08:23, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Hello, you voted  Oppose for my picture saying I don't like photographs of two-dimensional patterns. Photographs don't seem to be the right medium for that. Although I entirely respect your opinion, I would like to add a little more info: it is a picture of a vault so, not of a 2D but of a 3D pattern. Simple optical illusion given by the pattern, as you can see in the image on the right. Kind regards Pentocelo 19:19, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Norro. I rotated the image. May I please ask you to take a look again and tell me, if it is OK now. Thank you.--Mbz1 (talk) 14:53, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Done. --norro 16:26, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Valued image voting[edit]

Hi norro, Thank you for participating as a reviewer in Valued images. I noticed that you had changed the status on two noms to promoted accompanined by some positive statements about the nominations indicating a support, but there was no support vote placed explicitly. This is actually required for the vote to be valid. To support, prepend your review comment with {{Support}}, to oppose, prepend with {{Oppose}} and so on. I have added a support vote explicitly for the two cases as it seemed very clear that this was your intention. Happy editing, -- Slaunger (talk) 23:58, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

(Note to anyone reading this, the FPC page was actually Commons:Featured picture candidates/Image:Daisy Geyser erupting in Yellowstone National Park.jpg. I don't know if this can be fixed by passing a second parameter to the template.)

I don't know if Mbz1 (whose original nom failed) should also be notified; I suppose not. -- Korax1214 (talk) 14:59, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to say thanks for the support on the picture I posted on http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Featured_picture_candidates. It's the first picture I submitted & felt it was evaluated completely on the technical side & not on the subject. Anyway, I appreciate the support.
