Notification about possible deletion

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

Hi Mono, you have great photo editing and logo skills! I was just wondering, I love the older logo of the Articles for Creation ([136]), where it has 2 pages instead of one. I was wondering why that logo was used but than changed back to the logo with one page? Thanks! CookieMonster755 (talk) 03:38, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

Dear sir/madam, I've noticed you have deleted an image that I had uploaded recently. I have permission to upload that image directly from the designer, so I don't fully understand why it has been deleted. Could you please undelete it? Thank you in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pabloj (talk • contribs)

@Pabloj: Hi Pablo, welcome to Commons! I deleted the image (File:IndieGo_Alley_Festival.png) because it was licensed under the wrong type of Creative Commons license. Commons cannot accept files that have a non-commercial or no-derivatives clause in the Creative Commons license. However, if the owner is willing to license it under the right kind of Creative Commons license (one that allows commercial use and derivative works), it can be re-uploaded to Commons. Please click here for instructions so that we can document the author's consent to these licensing conditions. Please let me know if you have any questions. You can also post questions at Commons:Village_pump/Copyright and experienced Commons users will respond to your question. Thanks! —Mono (how to reply) 00:56, 16 June 2015 (UTC)
