Hello, and thank your for sharing your files with Commons. There seems to be a problem regarding the description and or licensing of this particular file. Could you please resolve these problems, which are described on the page linked in above? Thank you. --Orgullomoore 23:12, 30 August 2006 (UTC) Hi, I did not find out the correct licensing possibility for this Company logo - so I uploaded it again to the german wikipedia and added the same licensing information like is used for similar Company logos - which seems to be "Bild-Logo", but could also be "Bild-PD" or both, if this is possible!? Moin Mitte! Du hast das hübsche Bild Image:Brittany Coast.JPG hochgeladen. Könntest Du noch ergänzen, wo das Bild aufgenommen wurde? (Die Bretagne ist so groß... :o)) Vielleicht kannst Du es dementsprechend auch noch kategorisieren? Vor allem die Gemeinde (Category:Cities and villages in Bretagne) wäre interessant, sonst können andere Benutzer selbst bei bestem Willen nicht den Rest ergänzen. Danke! - Achja, ich habe nicht geschaut, ob Du auch noch andere Bilder mit spärlicher Beschreibung hochgeladen hast... falls ja... hm... könnte ich Dich dann etwas bitten... ? :o) Großes Dankeschön im voraus, Ibn Battuta 07:31, 5 May 2007 (UTC) PS: Und klar, falls Du zur Kategorisierung Fragen hast, gern bei mir nachfragen!

der Eigentümer des abgebildeten Objekts hat sich im Support gemeldet und teilt folgendes mit:

Das angeführte denkmalgeschützte Objekt mit der Adresse „Am Josefgrund 20“ befindet sich am Nebengrundstück. 
Diesbezüglich sind wir auch Eigentümer, es sieht jedoch anders aus.
Deshalb sind 3 selbstgemachte Bilder des denkmalgeschützten Objektes angefügt, 
die der Autor des Beitrages verwenden kann.

Ich ersuche um Rückmeldung von Ihnen oder dem Autor des Beitrages wenn die Berichtigung erfolgt ist.

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2015 is open!

Dear Mitte,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2015 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the tenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2015) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1322 candidate images. There are 56 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top #1 and #2 from each sub-category. In the final round, you may vote for just one or maximal three image to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 2 will end on 28 May 2016, 23:59:59 UTC.
